Exodus Books is a great source for home schooling, teachers, and tutors. It helps that used books are often available. They are also a great source for classics, educational games and toys. We buy books and toys here for our grandkids. It is also a good source for Christian books. Although not comprehensive, the selection is more thoughtful and of greater value. The people at Exodus are helpful and great folks. We love going there. We were looking on line for math curriculum, and that is how we found Exodus. Their website has the best reviews of home schooling material by far. When I saw it, I sighed, "I wish we could have a place like this in Portland." I looked to see where they were--Portland. Exodus also has great shipping service at reasonable rates. Sometimes we just dont have time to drive across town before we need material for a new student--so we order on line to be shipped. Exodus and their staff are tops.

This bookstore has the best selection of "good" books Ive ever been to. I browsed the aisles for almost an hour and found I had read many of the books in the store and loved them. Really Good books especially for young readers or persons who enjoy rereading old friends. Lots of classics: Kipling, Spyr, Henty, Chesterton, London, Dahl etc and favorite authors who are really good at writing the kinds of stories kids like to read: Kjelgaard, Alexander, Coolidge, Massi, Tolkien etc. Simply brilliant selection of family friendly "good" books.
