This bookstore is a main attraction for tourists and islanders. You get to walk on wooden floors that creak every once-in-a-while , while perusing books from bestsellers, to categories of nonfiction and travel to magazines and other readables off the beaten path. Cozy seats to relax in while checking out a book you may purchase. Downstairs is their fabulous used bookstore where its not unusual to walk out with a shopping bag full of books for a few bucks. Helpful staff. Dogs encouraged to accompany their humans and treats await their presence.

Today was my first interaction with this business. The man who took my call was friendly and very accomodating. He did not have the book i was looking for so he said he could order it for me and have it there by tomorrow! I am going to shop here for all my book needs from now on!

This is a great bookstore. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection of new books upstairs. In the basement, you can find their used book section. This is more sparse but there are some great finds if you look hard enough.

Classic small town independent bookstore. When youre tired of the anonymity of online shopping and want real books and real people who know their stuff, this is the place. Greeting cards, calendars, and small gifts too.

The staff are really friendly. I love the wooden floors and the tangle of stacks. Not a huge bookstore, but Its local and homey. Theres a good selection of recently published books and a wall of staff picks.
