We visited Portland last weekend and decided to do the "Brews Cruise" offered. Neil was our tour guide and he was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the breweries and Portlands beer scene, as well as city history and politics. I was a little intimidated on the city streets with the bike, since I havent been on a bike in years, but he clearly laid out our path at each pit stop. We stopped first at a park along the river to regroup and admire the scenery. We had a group of six visitors, which was perfect. We visited two breweries, including Base Camp, which was my favorite. Then we had a pint at the shop, where I bought a pair of souvenir socks, and we were ready for dinner and more beer! I definitely recommend this tour for people wanting to see a piece of the city with a local, but not get TOO touristy. Thanks Neil!

A friend and I rented a couple e-Bikes from Cycle Portland for 8 days. Ever person we spoke with at Cycle Portland were extremely helpful and seemed very passionate about their jobs. Guthrie even blocked off a parking space for our RV and helped us get the bikes loaded onto the RV and put a heavy duty lock and chain on them. He gave us a good run down of everything we needed to know and made sure the bikes were adjusted well for both of us. The e-Bikes were a blast! My friend and I both want one of our own now. So much fun! The extra oomph that they give you on the hills makes you feel like youre much more in shape than you really are. The e-bike rental is on the pricey side, but I did quite a bit of checking around and Cycle Portlands prices are competitive. The experience was well worth it.

This review is under my sons Google account and Im posting o/b/o the whole family. We were a family of 4- ages 12, 15 and 40-something parents. We loved the whole thing. It was informative, fun, and a great way to get a general overview of Portland. Sierra was an awesome guide who fielded a lot of questions from a chatty group and who kept us safe on some traffick-y streets. I would highly recommend any newcomer and tourist in Portland to do a bike tour esp. with this company. I found them on my own but turns out our concierge at the Westin recommended this company, as well. Book ahead of time at least a few days esp. in summer. We booked the week before for the date we wanted (the weekend had already sold out).

My boyfriend and I took the Foodie Field Trip with Sierra. We were the only ones signed up, so it felt like a private tour experience. Sierra was really personable and she guided us through the city safely. We had a ton of fun! We biked through some really pretty sites throughout the city and stopped at a local coffee/chocolate shop, Cartopia for lunch, and 50 Licks ice cream for dessert. She also had some really cool background stories for each stop and for a lot of places we biked through. She was also really great at recommending other areas to check out around town. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I knew that I wanted to take at least one brewery tour when I was in Portland, and I knew that I wanted to bike around during my trip. I did a little research and found Portland Bicycle Tours, and was very impressed by what I found. The company is easy going, provides custom tours, had lots of information about Portlands sites as we biked around, and our tour guide offered great recommendations on beers to try at each brewery. He even had great recommendations for dinner! I could not have asked for a better afternoon and would recommend Portland Bicycle Tours to anyone biking around Portland.

I would highly suggest Portland Bicycle Rentals (Portland Bike Tours). I rented a bike for the weekend and the rates werent reasonable and I got to see Portland by bike, which was convenient way to get around since the city is very flat and bike friendly. I was impressed with Evan Ross, the owner, of the Portland Bicycle Rentals he helped get us on bikes that fit and rode smoothly. He was knowledgeable and proud of the Rose City, which made our trip a pleasure. The next time were in Portland (for business or vacation) well definitely arrange to rent bikes again. -M. I was in Portland for a conference, and rented a bike for 24 hrs. It was a great ten speed road bike with straight handlebars. Bike was in good condition, with tight brake cables and good tires. It was even big enough for me, as I generally ride a 62cm frame. Evan gladly lent me lights, messenger bag, and a helmet to ensure a good time. Cant recommend this highly enough. Easy to locate and convenient hours for pick up and drop off. Couldnt believe I got everything for such a good price. Plan on going back when I return over summer.

This place used to be awesome for stopping in to do quick repairs when youre out and about, or even overhauling your drive train. They seem to solely be focused on tours and rentals, now, completely unwilling to even help you out with an Allen wrench. None of the same faces that had been there for years. Spent $100s in repairs and tune-ups here, even bought new rims from them last year. Sorry guys, but you suck now. Super disappointed in the abandonment of the precedent you set for yourselves. Gotta make that easy money, I guess! Cheers

The Banks-Vernonia Tour provided a great opportunity to escape the city for a day and enjoy the calm, beautiful surroundings along the trail and in the town of Vernonia. Oregon Bicycle Tours made it easy for me to enjoy the adventure without having to own a bike or bringing any special gear. The tour guides were very familiar with the trail and its surroundings, and we had a blast at the brewery finish point. The Banks-Vernonia Bike Tour is the easiest, most affordable way to enjoy a slice of rural, small-town Oregon by bicycle.

We rent with Cycle Portland every time we make the trip and weve always been really happy but they just keep getting even better- the inventory, the service, everything. At times we have even had free bikes available at our hotel and we will still rent here because they provide so much with your rental (helmet, front bag, lock, lights) and the bike quality is so much better (as a daily rider, no thanks to a fixie cruiser). Everyone is really nice and helpful and the bikes are always in great shape- you wont be disappointed.

I absolutely loved doing the Food Tour, it is one of the best ways to get to know Portland. Our Tour Guide Sierra was fantastic. There was only two of us on the tour so she was very informative on everything we asked and picked all the great food spots to check out. The experience was like hanging out with a friend. We were so sad when it came to an end. Overall, Id recommend taking any of their tours but Id highly recommend the food tour for the foodies out there. Thanks for such a great time!

We went to experience Portland from the ground up and had a wonderful experience. The biking part was much easier than I expected with all these hills in Portland, and we got to see the sights this beautiful city is famous for, plus a small history lesson and explanations of the whys and wheres. Our guide was very knowledgeable and careful with our biking group: this is definitely something I would advise any visiting (active) tourist or inhabitant to do!!
