Time to buy new mountain bikes; I tired quickly of the pushy, snotty, arrogant sales people at the LBSs here on Bainbridge Island. Not to mention the over-priced hype and fluff that they were pushing with "attitude" (Ugh). I had purchased MTBs from Silverdale Cyclery back when Jesus was still rockin short hair, so I decided to go back. So glad I did. Now I remember why I ended up buying here the first time. Great prices, great bikes, super easy staff to get along with. If I mention a problem Im having or a spec. I want- I just babble it out in laymens terms and these guys decode it and point me in the right direction. They never make me feel stupid about my lack of knowledge. Just really down to earth and easy to get honest beta from. Great shop. Great staff. Super knowledgeable, and easy to give money to- because they are trustworthy, and have my interests at heart. Also, their repair and tech staff is top notch and if they find a problem or make a fix, they take the time to show me what theyve done and why.

I have been a customer of Davids for three years now. I started biking again after a 25 year hiatus and live less than a mile from a competing bike shop. I choose to drive to Silverdale from Gig Harbor, because I feel like an honored guest at Silverdale Cyclery. When I had a mechanical issue the other shop just wanted to sell me a new more expensive part and have me wait for a couple of weeks until they could get to it. David and his team fixed my bike with a simple adjustment in a few minutes. No three week wait during the peak season. Silverdale understands a customer for life. Last year I upgraded my bike with Silverdale Cyclery and went in for a small adjustment today and as usually when asked what I owed it was a handshake and a thank you for coming in. The bike shops staff.is outstanding, We are from SW Oklahoma vacationing (riding bikes) and my bike was in need of repair. I brought the bike in and the the mechanic repaired my bike in a short time. One of the guys showed me the Maprika application so I could find trails in the area. I bought a couple of tickets for a drawing in the near future for a Santa Cruz Heckler too. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. It is now my favorite bike shop in Washington State. Living the life, living the dream where every mountain bike ride is a holiday. "Pedal Damn It"

Great customer service. Nice thing about buying a high quality bike from a bike shop is you can usually count of quality service keeping your bike in order. The first couple of months after buying my bike I was in here regularly. I had questions about this and that. The bike setting etc. Not to mention the times I wiped out or needed my bike checked out. Every time these people made sure to help me out and give peace of mind. When its time to buy more bikes for the family I will for sure go back here (if Im still in the area).

Silverdale Cyclery is _the_ LBS for kitsap. If youre looking for good gear, a tune up, or a new ride, they are in a position to help. The staff have always been courteous and helpful, even when the store gets mobbed. They are somewhat limited in the lines that they carry, but do have a good selection in those product lines and fair pricing. End of model year prices are very competitive. Special orders come in at a good rate (about a week for most items) and they have almost everything that I typically need.

I was excited to see that this place offers recumbents as per their website: "Silverdale Cyclery carries both two wheel and three wheel recumbents. We are the Puget Sounds only dealer for Catrike and IceTrike, conveniently located on the Kitsap Peninsula, between Bremerton and Poulsbo. Come try one." Unfortunately what the website doesnt tell you is that they dont carry them in-store, you have to special order one. A waste of $60 worth of gas for nothing...

I have gone here on multiple occasions for multiple bikes and every time I have gone there the staff have gone above and beyond. From complete bike assemblies to changing out parts on my bikes they have always taken care of my needs. Whenever I had questions they were always very understanding and non-judgmental. These guys will always be my go to bike shop whenever I need anything done for my bikes.

Good knowledgeable staff here with a good selection of cycles and accessories. The only thing that I think could be better(and its odd so it doesnt take away from their rating) is their unicycle selection and accessories. It is nice that they have some of them there, but it would be great if they could figure out a way to have something that is the next step up instead of just starter unicycles.

Sales associates are awesome and knowledgeable, but when I took in my bike for some assistance, their mechanics skills were more lacking. Whats more, they pushed the assumption that I didnt know what I was talking about. Great parts at good prices, but I dont think Ill be using their mechanics again anytime soon.

Great staff who are very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. After buying a bicycle here you get free tune ups for a year and they prioritize commuters for repairs. A good one stop shop for everything cycling. Itll have you coming back for more if you like gadgets and gizmos.
