Barnes Professional Eye Care

I selected Barnes Professional Eye Care because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I was not disappointed! My experience with the staff and doctor was professional, informative, comfortable, respectful, and compassionate. The environment is upscale without an ounce of pretention. The staff is competent and friendly. Their facility is full of state-of-the-art equipment which aided Dr. Stasik in giving us an in depth analysis of our eye health and vision status. My ten-year-old enjoyed the experience and is actually excited about getting glasses! The eyeware selection was more than adequate for our family; the collection is well edited for a nice selection of styles and prices. I would be overwhelmed by more choices! The staff is friendly and professional, the office is attractive but not intimidatingly fancy, and Dr. Stasik is great! He was prompt and easy to talk to, and he walked me through each part of the exam, explaining what each test pertained to and the science behind it (Im curious and always like to know the details). He also gave me helpful general advice about how to get the family ready for eye exams and when to bring them - I asked since I have a few small children, and it was very informative. Their selection of frames is wonderful. Not the cheapest in town, for sure, but there seemed to be a decent price range. They even ordered a few colors of the frames I liked so I could try each one and make a final decision when my lenses were ready. That was a pleasant surprise, and I really felt they went the extra mile to make sure I had the exact glasses I wanted.

I recently had the pleasure of using Barnes Professional Eye Care and Dr. Stasik for a long overdue update to my contact lenses and backup glasses. I found Dr. Stasik and the entire staff to be a joy to work with. He is clearly an expert in his field, and is passionate about doing the best possible job. I am highly nearsighted (-11.5) but have always been able to correct to 20/15 with contact lenses, so I have very high expectations for what can be achieved. Because of this I consider myself difficult to please when it comes to vision correction. Dr. Stasik was very patient, adjusting the refraction and astigmatism corrections until they were just right. The process took a while but the end result was 20/15 vision in both eyes. I couldnt have asked for more, and would highly recommend Dr Stasik and Barnes Professional Eye Care.

I live day by day on low income while trying to finish school. I dont have insurance, so of course Im wary about any kind of Doctors visit. I first visited Barnes Professional Eye Care a few months ago and was taken aback by the low cost of my uninsured visit. The staff are very friendly and eager to help whoever walks through the door (cute too!). My visit was much more thorough and stress-free than any other eye exam Ive had before. Because price is always an issue with me, I had some trepidation when ordering my colored contact lenses.. As it turns out, they were super cheap and shipped within the next day! Life is definitely more beautiful when youre able to see it correctly. Thank you everyone at Barnes Professional Eye Care!!! =D

Ive required corrective lenses for 15 years and this was hands down the most pleasant experience I have had with an optometrist. From scheduling my appointment, having pre-appointment correspondence, arriving, seeing the assistant Megan, then finally seeing Dr. Stasik, it was pleasant the entire time. The testing was thorough, explanation was extensive, and it was very clear that they cared about my vision and overall health. I look forward to continuing my vision treatment with this office.

This place is amazing. How eye care should be. I have some weird eyes, a couple diseases with a astigmatism and the warning signs of glaucoma. I went to several eye car professionals and was unable to get a Rx that would let me see 20/20. They took some tests here and had me with a set of working contacts in no time. Worth the hour drive for sure.

Great staff, very friendly, very caring Dr. Schissler - they helped me chose a frame within my price range - the glasses fit great, look great, best of all, they work great! First time I ever got a prescription so perfect - Highly recommend this office!
