i called for assistance over the phone, with looking for a particular item a black button up womens shirt for work.. . I was treated rudely, and told i just needed to come and LOOK FOR MYSELF!! that no one could go take the time to look for me. I explain i dont live close by, and need to know before making that trip. bc ive already been to 12 stores with no luck, its not a quick easy trip for me to just come by.. UNLESS they have one.. THIS store needs better customer service training, courtesy training. WILL not think of ROSS if i need something. BTW I then CALLED KHOLS they gladly put me on hold to look for me, understanding my situation completely.. and went above and beyond found what i needed, and put aside 3 different sizes ready at customer service for me for pick up. AND was completely courteous and extremely nice. THIS has made me always choose Khols!

I went to the dressing room and when i was done i walked out to turn in my number and certain items. An older woman was there and i saw she was attending other customers so i waited. She helped two more people and when she was done I said excuse me maam. Before i could finish she turn and said please wait your turn in a very stressed voice. All i was trying to do is get her attention. She continued to help the fourth so i walked around and stood in front of her so she could see that i was there. She didnt like that and she began to scold me as if Ive done something wrong. I was embarrassed by her continued comments and other people were listening. I diffused the situation by apologizing by telling her i didnt mean to rush her she didnt say anything back. Piss poor customer service Id say.

This is the worst Ross i have ever been to. The staff is horrible! I spent about 10 to 15 minutes looking at clothes. The entire time, the assistant manager just stared at me like i was going to steal something. Then i go to the fitting room. The young girl didnt even say anything to me, counted my items and handed me a number. After i was done, there was a different girl. She looked at me weird. Again, said nothing to me. I handed her my number and walked off. I go to the purchase line, and what do you know, assistant manager is still staring at me. Cashier didnt seem to care about anything...no friendly smiles, no hi..like i said, worst Ross EVER! This was 10-7-15 at 9:00 p.m.

Ive only been in Ross a few Times. The Gresham one most. Im always looking for cheap running shoes. No mater what brand shoes my devils heels tear them up in a few weeks. Ive always found something decent so thats why the three stars. The one thing I cant stand is the employees treat me and everyone shopping like we are criminals looking to steal everything we Touch. Stop mean muging me and try smiling and greet me for once. Maybe one employee might say hi or ask if Im finding everything Im looking for.

Being a Ross shopper I was pleased to find this one well stocked especially with back to school shopping at its peak. I have found the ones around Portland always seemed to be picked over and messy so was a nice surprise. I did end up leaving with out the one item I had intended to purchase because the check out lines where so long and decided I didnt need it that bad but again, last weekend or two before school started so to be expected. Over all clean staff and security were helpful and pleasant.

In line with 10 other people one cashier. Really!! This is really unacceptable!! I ask the cashier(Mercedes) . If she can call for help and she said "no". It was the middle of the evening , lots of customers and I will be calling corporate!!! Just saying!! Very bad customer service, 20 mins later . She calls for help and out of nowhere 3 cashiers appear, I thought there was no one else to help....

Employees were friendly but they had only one checker (and one doing returns) and I waited in line for over 40 mintues. Would have left but I spent time trying on clothes and found something so did want to leave so waited. People were leaving from line left and right. Toward the end they got two more checkers so things moved faster but what a wait!

Great prices, selection, and good customer service. Dont expect there to be associates on hand to show you where everything is; that bit is pretty much up to you as associates are all scrambling to do an impeccable job stocking and manning the register, though if you do manage to snag one, my experience is them being polite and helpful.

I dont like that I have to go to a whole different section simply because Im full figured. They can call it "Womens World" or anything else, but I see no reason to separate us that way. Wow, I had a waterbottle with maybe a sip of water in it and was told I wasnt allowed in the store because of this... although it would have been simple to drink it or toss it out, I didnt bother... my money can be better spent at a store that actually wants it... which isnt you Ross in Gresham 7/28/17

This place I dread going to more than the DMV. Kids crying, many different languages being hollered at kids (other than English) staff very slow. They move about as fast as someone walking to their execution lol lol pathetic! How any of the employee have jobs amazes me

No exaggeration about 50 people in line on a Friday evening, one clerk, 10 other employees doing nothing, in line for 45 minutes. They say its always busy in here, yet they only staff one person to run the register. Poor service and organization.

Rude customer service! Employees will talk badly about customers right in front of them. You can tell management has the same no care attitude. I may just shop at Marshalls for while, until Ross can get it together.

I love that the store accommodates people that like to shop late at night for Christmas . I work at night driving for Lyft and uber so if its slow I can just pop in and do some shopping .

This place is ok. I know ross is known for having cheap products but I really love the candles and other home decor items.
