1st of all there is absolutely no one shopping here today. They are in a completely dead shopping center that is mainly vacant in the middle of Marin City. There are several employees working doing absolutely nothing except talk to each other. I asked one about a luggage bag. Very simple question - like does she know the weight of it. She says shell get someone else to help. Man comes over says he cannot answer questions. Woman comes back and seems confused that a customer is still there. Man comes back. English seems to be a 3rd language and they have no interest in actually doing any work.

I made a quick stop at Ross with a few companions after taking a stroll through Target across the big parking lot. The Ross in Marin City was kind of crowded with racks and shelves of clothing, furniture and such. Id like to add that it was also quite clean and organized. There werent many people inside around noon on a Saturday. The security guard was surprisingly welcoming, compared to most of the Ross stores Ive visited. Prices were so-so and there were one or two registers open.

That should be there slogan. They must figure that their prices & selection are so good, they do not have to work on customer service. This store ranks right up at the top for poor customer service, yet 2 people at the front desk tried to make up for the rest. Selection was poor at this location, & the floor staff were unfriendly at best. Its Sausalito, CA; how bad can it be? Ya get off work & go to the beach 10 minutes away... please!!

(Dont go between 5pm and 7pm. But the selection is always good, much better than the other ones in the area. Staff is friendly as well. I had to take one star off for the sometimes long lines, but by far the best selection!

The mall is getting a face-lift. However foot traffic is low and I dont think this Ross restock as much as other locations because of it. Slim pickings but you might find something that other stores are out of.

The selection here pales compared to the other Ross stores in the county. To me, it seems like this Ross takes all the rejected merchandise for the other local Ross stores.

Last night I was a victim of a robbery in my car while I was shopping in this place. They broke my window and took my things away. No one from the store came to help me.

Nice place to find not expensive stuff for your home. It has convenient business hours, not so much people over there, close to bus stop.
