I was super excited to see that this location in Eugene carried Dr. Martens--a large variety at that. Quickly that excitement turned to disappointment when they did not have any pair in my size. I finally decided to go with the basic black because the display shoe was in my size. The employee helping me went to the back to get the match to it and came out only to inform me that the had lost its mate. The employee informed me that he could order a pair online and they could be in within 3 days--no shipping charge. I said great, gave him my contact information and left. A week later I called and ask if they had come in and I just hadnt been contacted--I was told that I do not need to call and that I would be called when they arrived. A little put off I accepted and kept waiting. Literally three weeks had passed and I was finally contacted and told that the shoes had arrived. I went in, and low and behold they ordered a MENS 6 and not a WOMANS 6 (or at least the equivalent). After all the time wasted I was upset and the man who ordered them was working. I told him what happened--he tried to tell me that it was the right size, made me let him resize my foot, and then offered to kind of apology or condolence. There was no reasoning that he needed to try and tell me what size my own foot was--the show was obviously too large being that my toes barely passed where the laces ended. Furious at that point I left and made my purchase online from the Dr. Martens website---as I should have in the first place.

Had a great shoe shopping experience this evening. First time in and they were so helpful and patient with me. My feet are super sensitive and Robin cheerfully ran up and down the stairs getting me pair after pair until we found the perfect shoes. Then, just before she rang me up, I remembered that my running shoes recently bit the dust. Priya was awesome at explaining the Topos and helping me select the right ones. Hes super passionate about his family-owned store and the products they provide. Thanks for a great experience, guys!

Brought some shoes that were not appropriate for my feet (unknowingly) and returned 2 different sizes to try and alleviate the discomfort. When I came in the second time, even though I had worn the shoes outside and were considered unreturnable, shoe-a-holic took back the shoes and put me in a proper pair after measurements. I dont like to be the guy that causes the business a loss, but I really appreciate the extra effort that was offered to put me into a proper pair of shoes.

Priya and his team are great. This store has been a lynch-pin for downtown revitalization and business development for what? Two decades now? A person can get any fashion of footwear here, and get help from someone for whom shoes are not just a livelihood but a passion (or should I say addiction? yak yak yak).

While Im not a huge fan of their collection of heels, I have never experienced better customer service. Toms fit my feet weird, and one of the guys there helped me until I found the perfect pair, and made suggestions. I reccomend this place to anyone!
