I have been to many smoke shops all around the u.s. and I would have to say that midtown direct is my absolute favorite. You could spend hours in there just looking around at their incredible selection of pieces and accessories. Then next door they have a clothing store that is off the hook. Very reasonable prices. The part that takes it to the next level for me is the incredibly helpful and attentive staff. There is nothing better than putting your money where you know it is supporting incredible, humble, and selfless people that are making this world a better place. The party that they threw for their customers this year was OFF THE HOOK. They gave away THOUSANDS of dollars worth of glass and hired MY FAVORITE band ever, INDUBIOUS. I could go all day about how impressed I am with what they do there. Revolutionary!

All in all, Id say these folks are very lucky this is a small town with few alternatives! Nice glass, but in this town you can find beautiful local pieces at almost any smoke shop for far better prices. I have been into this store twice In person and called in once with a very simple question. Staff was INCREDIBLY rude on all occasions. I have worked in customer service for over a decade and have never treated people wanting to give me their patronage as these people do. Will never go back. Management should consider having a meeting teaching these people customer service.

I am unable to put any star rating on this business. Reason why is I have never seen a business act so unprofessional especially in the middle of the day with people everywhere to witness it. I do not think it is appropriate to be yelling obscenity across the street at other businesses. That rude behavior should not be tolerated by the owners of this company. As a resident of Eugene I pride our town on its happy upbeat feel and actions like this just give us a bad name. To the owners I hope you take pride in your business and town and quickly remedy this problem.

This place is half way between downtown Eugene & the U of O Campus on 11th Ave. They have a very nice selection of PIPES in pretty much all the formats you can smoke the different "LEGAL RECREATIONAL" & MEDICAL MARIJUANA (Buds,Hash, Concentrates, etc.)! Plus, they also have a nice selection of silicone Dab accessories & Nector Collectors for your dabbing experience!! Also has a nice little section of used smoking accessories & stuff...Nice staff-friendly!!

Best place to find affordable glass in any style! They also carry great incense, hookahs and other smoking merchandise including Bob Marley papers and decently priced bulk tobacco. Counter people are always friendly after youve proven youre old enough to be in there by flashing your valid I.D. Ive never left the store without picking up something I was looking for in my price range.

Im pretty much obsessed with tobacco of all sorts so I buy products from different locations in the area but in terms of the experience of being in the establishment, Midtown Direct is my favorite place to be! The employees are all very friendly, kind and helpful and the other customers are always fun to mingle with. That spot there on 13th just exudes positive energy, I love it!

Used to be better, I think, but I may not really have any super-fond memories of the place to begin with. They dont carry Zippo lighters, and have a pretty limited and cheesy looking selection for the affordable spoons, like under $40, but otherwise, they have great art pieces and fancier expensive stuff, plus, I guess theyre pretty friendly everything I go in.

I am impressed with a store that will put on a free show with give aways, food and bomb music just because they love their customers. The prices on rolling tobacco is excellent and they have a wonderful selection of glass. The customer service has always been top notch. GET YOUR TOBACCO HERE IF YOU ARE IN EUGENE!

Very knowledgeable staff, great place to check out if your into the smoking culture. Amazing selection of glass water pipes, hand pipes, and bubblers. They have Dab rigs and vaporizers for days, way to many to see all in one visit!!! If your in the downtown Eugene area its well worth the visit. Highly recommended

Midtown is by far the best shop you could hope for. Please take my word and dont bother with Hunky Dory when Midtown is just down the street. At Midtown they care about the customers and the products they sell to you. I couldnt have been more happy with all my experiences with them! Go check them out now!!!

Perhaps you went in and asked for a bong? That guaranteed you no service. My experience was great! I got a good explanation of how several high tech vaporizers worked. They were busy, but i still got way more information than i expected. Very helpful. Very professional. Thanks.

Horrible service. Rude employees. The Asian woman who works here was mean to our group and rushed us through our decision. We came near closing time, so maybe the employees who work the earlier shifts are nicer people. Definitely will never go back here

Great people, and great prices= the best place in Eugene! They will answer any questions you might have, and they throw some of the best concerts in the city. I dont even live in Eugene but I travel just to get my hookah supplies from Midtown.

be carfule about prices I was sold a bong used that was 100 brand new for 80 dollars and I had to buy a bowl for it. I traded in a perfectly fine bong and was only give a 15 dollar credit for a glass on glass 65 dollar bong. Im not impressed

I was turned away before I even entered the front door with my dog. No reason. Just, "Dont bring your dog in here.". I said "ok" and turned around. Wish I could add more but I definitely know they dont accept dog brandishing patronage.

I went in here looking for an inexpensive glass piece. The selection was overwhelming and the staff very helpful. Everything was locally made, great location, only place that I could find open until 9. I would recommend Midtown.

If you smoke weed then youll like the selection of "tobacco pipes" ,if you dont smoke weed then you should go to the briar shoppe, the selection is better and so is the service.
