I met Jeff Davenport in 2005. I called the dealership he worked at looking for a vehicle. They didn’t have any in stock, so Jeff ordered a vehicle direct from the factory with the exact features that I wanted. When it arrived, the car was exactly what we had agreed on, and more importantly so was the price. Jeff made the whole process easy which is how it should be. I never felt pressured from him, and he is a man of his word. He gave me a price that I felt was reasonable, and I never had to jump through the hoops that are commonplace when you’re buying a car. I called Jeff last month interested in buying a new truck. I found out that Jeff had moved from Seattle to Oregon and was now a co-owner of this dealership. He explained to me that he was no longer in Seattle but offered to still help me. I only had two criteria. I wanted a specific Ford truck, and I wanted to get out of a current lease for a Toyota Tacoma that I wasn’t happy with. The former was a challenge because the model and features I wanted weren’t standard, and harder to come by. The latter was a challenge because I was only 1 year into the lease and I wanted to break even on the payoff. Needless to say I didn’t have high hopes that I was going to end up with the new truck that I wanted. Jeff went to work, and found a truck that met my requirements to the letter. He asked me to email him pictures of my Tacoma and then got back in touch with me with an amount for it. Jeff is different than any car salesperson that you will deal with, and here’s how. The price he gave me for the new truck was a fair price the first time. He didn’t come in high and make me go through a song and dance to get to the real number. He just gave me the real number. I knew it was fair because I’d done my research. The other thing that highlights the difference between Jeff and other car salespeople you encounter is that he didn’t try to lowball me on the trade-in amount. He very simply, gave me his best offer. He knew what I was trying to do because he listened to me initially when we talked and he didn’t play any games with me. There was nothing for me to say about it, other than thank you and yes I agree. With the truck found, and a trade-in amount agreed to, Jeff made arrangements for the truck to be delivered to a dealership in Seattle. He then drove from Oregon to meet me and sign the paperwork. I was in and out of the dealership with a new vehicle in a little over an hour. Read that again. I don’t know about you but I’ve bought a few vehicles in my life and the only time that’s been the case is when I’ve dealt with Jeff. Jeff didn’t have to go to the extra effort to drive to Seattle to meet me personally to sign the paperwork, but he did. You can add that to the list of things that makes Jeff different than any car salesperson you will encounter. If this is how Jeff Davenport personally does business, imagine what he expects from the salespeople at his dealership. That’s the kind of place that I want to give my business to.

My 16 yr old daughter and I had been working with Randy since December 20th on a 2005 Ford Escape. It made a noise that I wanted checked out and fixed before committing to the purchase. We discussed a price and I was very firm on what I was willing to pay. I kept in touch with Randy regarding the progress on the vehicle. On December 23rd they finally got to it and said it needed a new PCM module the part should be there by the 30th. January 3rd I contacted Randy and find out they ordered the wrong part and it will be 10-12 days before the new one comes. I expressed my frustrations and was informed they would rush the part. Fast forward to this evening we drive to the dealership to test drive it one last time before committing to the purchase. Randy was helping others so I searched the office until I found the owner (cant remember his name due to my frustrations with him). He proceeded to tell me that they ended up having to put over $2000 into the vehicle to make it safe for my daughter. So unfortunately now theyre having to ask more money. When I asked how much his answer was what are you willing to pay? So again I gave him the amount. He said to take the car for a drive and he would crunch some numbers. Came back and his numbers were nearly$2000 more than the original amount we discussed which puts the amount more than $2500 over the blue book value. We exchanged unpleasantries and needless to say I walked out. Not only do I feel offended by the unprofessionalism, but I am offended that they blatantly tried to rip us off. The owner was rude, lacked good business ethics and made excuses for himself and his employees. Never again will I offer business to these people who feel it to be "business" to take a hard working teenager to the cleaner on her first vehicle. Typical low class car dealership.

Do not use their auto repair! What a joke! We took in our 2003 Expedition because the AC compressor was leaking. They replaced the the compressor ($1200) and asked us to bring it back in a couple of days to check for leaks. Then they called and asked that we bring it back because the tech thought he lost a tool in it. When I took it back in they told me the AC Manifold was leaking. And it would be another $600. After several back and forths and telling them we believed the second leak was on them, the manifold wasnt leaking when we brought it in the first time. We agreed to bring it back in and let them look at it to confirm. They just change out the part and charged us $510. Jason even lied and told us there was no dye in the oil to begin with. There waa dye in the oil, that what told my husband the compressor was the issue in the beginning and not that he had spilled motor oil when he changed it. To top it off both of the keyfobs stopped working for whatever reason. Bottom line they were the last ones to touch it and now we are out more money then we anticiapted and will have to find someone else to figure out why the keyfobs are not working. Lesson learned, we thought taking it in would be our best as we were getting ready for our Berry Harvest on our farm, instead we got a bigger headache. We now know why all of our Family drives up to Landmark Ford when Mid Valley is so close. Crappy service and experience!

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE!!! We contacted Jeff Davenport at Mid Valley Ford upon receiving an excellent referral from a family member. Jeff was very attentive, provided clear communication and superior customer service. We immediately felt comfortable with him, like we were talking to an old friend. He listened closely during our first phone call and quickly found us the exact car we wanted, for just the price we had hoped for. We live in the Seattle area and especially appreciated the personal videos he made to virtually "walk" us through the car and show us all the features to save us time while we shopped from a distance. He thoroughly answered every contract question in detail and made us feel really comfortable throughout every step of the buying process. Jeff really went above and beyond to make our buying experience as pleasant and simple as possible- no fluff, no hassle, no stress, no pressure. We HIGHLY recommend Mid Valley Ford whether you live near or far. We had such a wonderful and relaxed buying experience! Mid Valley Ford exceeded all our expectations and we are absolutely thrilled with our new 2017 Ford Escape SE!
