This place is a joke. They prey on the citzens of Lake County knowing that 66% of the population lives below the poverty level. They sold me a car that they did not legaly own. Several months after, I called to inquire about my registration, Im informed the problem with obtaining the registration is bot theirs its mine. When I go to DMV to inquire about my registration I am reditected to the DMV investigator who informs me thay 3 months after I purchased the vehicle a rep. Of West Lake Auto tried to pass off an improperly signed off title at the DMV in Redding. To date ths truck I traded in on the car hasnt been transfered to its new owner. DMV also indormed me that the the License issued to the owner of West Lake Auto Center - Heath was pulled for the same type of improper and fraudulent practices. Now Heath, has conned someother unsuspecting wingnut into carrying the required licenses to do business. Heath will tell you that he is safe because he is in a LLC. Well Heath, you may have an LLC and you may have customers that your dealing with but word of mouth carries far and wide. I urge anyone looking to purchase a car from West Lake Auto in Lakeport to do their homework. If your currently getting screwed call licensing enforcement in sacramento DMV and the BBB.

OMG this place is HORRID. Do not ever buy a car there I have spent more money fixing the bad work that the mechanics did to the vehicle to get it ready for sale than I spent on the actual car... TOTAL RIP OFF they sold me a car that was not up to safety codes and did nothing to fix it... COMPLETELY GHETTO RIGGED...
