What a wonderful way to start our first morning in Cannon Beach! My husband and I are in from Colorado and wanted a place near the ocean that he could read and I could knit. Our search was short lived when we stumbled upon Insomnia Coffee. He ordered the jalapeño cheddar biscuit and I ordered the quiche with a cup of earl gray tea (which I refilled 3 times) and we relaxed for hours while my husband read and I knitted. I could have sat there all day! That atmosphere was perfect, the people watching was endless, and the gals working were so awesome and friendly. We cant wait to come back here!

Rude customer service. I got there 5 minutes before opening and staff working kicked me out of the store after I asked if I can just wait inside since it was cold out.. Rude and no common curtesy. I called back to complain to the manager a few minutes later and she said that was what they have to do if anyone comes early...5 minutes early! Come on people...its obvious even the manager lacks compassion. I will never go back here and they also lost about a group of 30 customers who are traveling with us here every year... Good job with customer relations!

LOVE Insomnia and was very excited to finally hit this location. I live in Hillsboro and go to the one on Cornell almost daily. My only complaint about the Cannon location is the lack of outdoor seating. Theres only three small benches, no tables. I am a big fan of soaking up the Vitamin D while sipping a latte. Inside is super cute, but also limited seating. Only one bathroom, I stood in line for a good 5 minutes waiting to use it. I have always had positive interactions with the staff.

Really fantastic espresso. I got an 8oz mocha, and it was perfect. The espresso was lovely and rich, and the milk was perfectly steamed and poured. The chocolate was not overly sugary either. The environment is gentle and laid back, while the baristas are calm and kind. An excellent start to our morning! We will be back on our next visit.

I have to say I was disappointed in this coffee shop. A connoisseur-of-sorts of local coffee shops, I expected much, much more from this highly-reviewed coffee shop. I asked what their signature drinks were and...well, they dont really have any to speak of. I would recommend trying another local coffee shop rather than this one!

I got a vanilla latte, they said the vanilla syrup is made locally and doesnt have an extra ingredients that you would find in commercial syrups. The place is so cute and cozy the drinks are crazy delicious I will come back here every time I go to Cannon beach!

GREAT coffee shop right on the edge of the beach! I came in to warm up because it was a chilly 60* out. The staff was friendly and my latte came out super quick. The coffee was good and they really know how to grind, tamp and pour. I will be coming back.

Great coffee. Good non dairy options. Some vegan options for pastry. Very comfortable seating and visiting space. Overall its just a place you could go and sit and talk with a good friend or your spouse. And its just a very short walk to the beach!.

Personally Im not a fan of flavored coffee, but if youre going dairy free thats all youll get here as their non dairy milks - like almond - are flavored. Apparently thats what the baristas or owners like and I get that, but for me: no thanks.

Love this coffee shop! We are visiting from Virginia. The coffee is yummy and the service is quick and very friendly. We enjoyed being able to connect to update our family in such a beautiful local place. Great place for good vibes!

If youre an Earl Grey fan (as I am), try theirs right now. Seriously- turn your car around, do not pass Go, do not collect $200, do proceed directly to Insomnia Coffee and get an Earl Grey. Really, really, nice.

They have the best biscuits I have ever had in my life. Super creative and fresh!!! I think the first day I had a cheddar jalapeño biscuit and the second day a bacon bleu cheese biscuit. You must go try them

Ive been there twice and both times they have messed up my order. The first time I had to wait 20 minutes for my coffee and then they had to remake it. Ive heard good things so maybe I just have bad luck ?

Good prices for being right on the beach. One of the best features is a clean bathroom. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of soy pretty early in the day that I went. Okay selection.
