If youre looking for an awesome place to grab a cup of joe, gather with friends, or simply sit with a cup of tea and read, look no further! My husband and I stumbled upon this cafe while in Astoria one Sunday morning. We were immediately greeted with a big "Hello!" and smiles. We split the omnivore quiche, ordered 2 pumpkin bites, and I got an earl gray tea. I eat my share of eggs and pumpkin everything, but this was the best quiche weve ever had (and we have farm fresh eggs at our ranch in Colorado) and the best pumpkins bites! Not only that, but everyone was super friendly, there was tons of seating, and the atmosphere was so cozy on this fall morning. Well definitely be back soon!

Gosh what an average place wrapped in good first impressions. Okay its not remotely bad. They have good quality ingredients, fair prices and good coffee. But my god our food was weak, undercooked potatoes and bland. Really disappointing as everything else is.on point. Why three stars and not four? Well unlike poor service, poor food is in my opinion core to a cafe, and further if a place dresses itself up to be good with food asethetics, service and coffee then the food must bay to the same average. And here it did not.

A cute little corner coffee shop, Street 14 has a decent brew and a selection of delectable baked goods. They also have a small menu of breakfast items, including a wonderful French Toast. The staff is friendly, and seating, plentiful. The décor is beautiful, matching with the aesthetic of Astoria perfectly. The large windows wrapping the restaurant provide a beautiful view of the street, perfect for watching traffic lazily drift by in the afternoon. Stop in for your daily caffeine fix while you explore the town.

I simply adore Street 14. Its both a delightful coffee shop and now a exquisite example of the farm to table movement, with a seasonal menu that changes weekly based on whats available locally. The owners are the sweetest, moving from Germany four years ago to buy the shop (the wife grew up in Portland). Theyve done an amazing job of making the place inviting for locals and tourists, and its exciting to partake in this cultural and culinary experience.

This was disappointing food and service wise. I cannot vouch for the coffee but the food was pretty average. The sandwiches are expensive for what you get, few toppings and small in size although the bread was tasty. Service was OK. Welcoming at the start but no apology when the drink was missed from our order and we waited until after the food was served and wed finished it. The 3 star rating is for the cosy atmosphere and the soup was tasty.

Love, love, love this coffee shop. Its pricy but you get what you pay for. Breakfast was amazing, my soy chai was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing. Go here, order food and coffee, you wont be disappointed. Note, the hotel this coffee shop is attached to is beautiful. Take a walk to the back of the shot and you drop into a library full of the musty smell of old books with the charm of a turn of the century building.

Whenever we are in town (visiting from Portland) we always stop in for breakfast and a drink. The special tartine never disappoints and the quiches are on point. If you are in the mood for a two-bite treat, the vegan apple bite muffins are perfect. Highly recommended. Their baker is a magician, every type of pastry is always perfectly flavored and never over-baked.

You dont need to drink coffee to enjoy this gem; I had a lovely breakfast of smoked salmon and a fresh chopped salad for lunch while visiting the area. My family said the coffee was great, and we all enjoyed the eclectic selection of magazines, as well as the simply clean and stylish decor. Congratulations to the owners for doing it right!!

Was told I could not be in the establishment with my service animal. An employee asked me what service he provided, which I answered in detail. I was then asked to still leave or go next door. Not only were they horribly rude but Oregon law clearly states that a service animal may accompany its owner in restaurants etc.

Little pricey but it adjoined our hotel, The Commodores, lobby. The lattes were good but the bagel and breakfast salad was bookoo bucks. Stayed two nights at the hotel and went elsewhere the second morning. Nice enough with large windows, plenty of light and free wifi. Maybe next time I will revisit the place

They have great breakfasts. Menu includes eggs benedict, hashes, and a number of Danish or scones. Yum. Of course they can make espresso drinks or have the house coffee. Bus your own dishes though. There are a few seats on the sidewalk but most are inside. There is overflow seating in the hotel lobby.

Chill little spot to grab coffee and a quick bite to eat. My girl friend had French toast, which she said was good. I had oatmeal pancakes which were pretty underwhelming. My soy latte was good. Staff was very cool and nice, and the place has a laid back attitude, reminded me of a place back home in Portland.

Love the style of this place. Service is nice and attentive. It is odd that they dont support other local bakeries and coffee roasters. They serve Safeway baked goods and coffee from a Portland roaster. Columbia Coffee Roasters and Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters, both which are coastal, deserve our support!

These people are awesome! The owners are exceptionally kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is nice, modern and welcoming. The food is surprisingly good and really brings a bit of Portland to Astoria. And of course, the coffee is great. One of my favorite places in Astoria thus far. Highly recommended.

A great modern little coffee shop with Stumptown coffee and plenty of space to relax. I love they have free things to read and even some couch space as part of the hotel. I wish they had more vegan options for breakfast but theres always the bakery across the street. Great for hipsters LOL.

This has been my go to coffee spot for 3 years. They are incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. The coffee is delicious and you most definitely dont want to miss out on the pastries. They have recently opened for dinners Thursday to Sunday that is killer. Best Sunday spot in Astoria!

I had a perfectly pulled shot of espresso with a lovely crema on top, along with the vegetable hash, which was delicious. My husbands breakfast sandwich was a bit small and just okay. The atmosphere is relaxing, and it would be a nice place to spend the morning over the paper.

An excellent coffee and brunch spot. The locals flock here, which is always a good sign. This place has the good aspects of the hipster vibe, without the elitist condescending air that can be found in comparable place in Portland. Put this on your "must do" list in Astoria.

Great coffee and atmosphere, feels pretty old-timey. Good place to meet up with friends. Especially good if you need a coffee place to hang out at for a while, since you can order several refills ahead of time. Nice place if you want to have your coffee in an actual cup.

I ordered a pumpkin pie latte. It was nice, with real pumpkin. Overall the beverage was flavor balanced and not sweet. New Starbucks store remodels resemble this space with old, dark wood accents and steel counter stools. Lunch is served but I didnt eat.
