Bad experience with this supermarket. Poor customer service. I made the mistake of purchasing coconut oil from this store and did not care to open and look inside before purchase. When I took it home I realized that it had no seal both inside or outside. My husband took it the very next day back to the store with the receipt and they refused to take it back. They told me that it was my problem that I did not look before purchase. Well they have no problem selling food stuff that is unsealed!!! I wonder if they have ever been audited by the food inspectors. I also once purchased the wrong item from this store and took it back for exchange. Bag was unopened and I had just purchased it the day before and had the receipt. They refused to take it back and said that once they sell it, its our problem!! Very unfortunate for this store, they have lost one customer and will never refer anyone here. Will discourage anyone from going here in the future.

Have been shopping there for some time now and havent had a bad experience until now. The "customer service" has taken a nose dive in the past few months. Let me describe you an instance and you be the judge, I was standing in the check out line with 3 items and behind me was another gentle man with a cart full so when it was my turn I walk up to the counter and the cashier says " You only have 3 items so wait until ring the customer behind you" , [I could not understand the logic then] so I am a little shocked and go back while the gentle man and I are trying to figure out what the heck was going on. Anyway, after waiting for 5min for my turn to come up i go back to the same cashier and now he rings my items. Still cant figure out the logic behind this and i probably never will. It seems like the more popular they get the less they actually care about "Customer Service"

On Sunday, 11th May 2014, we had been to India Supermarket. We found that for number of Items the price was not indicated. When we asked the employee of the supermarket he plainly said the work is going on, but we spotted none doing this work. Besides, we found when we reached home that wiyhout our knowledge two items (moth beans and agarbatti) were withdrawn from the goods we had given for billing by the billing assistant for unknown reasons. This put us at great inconvenience. Moreover, the billing assistant was at loss to find price of one item. The vegetables were too stale, not seen to be good for purchasing. This is very discouraging experience at this supermarket. Comparatively prices of some items were seen high vis-a-vis such other store- in our opinion.

Honestly, their pricing seems to be the highest out of all the Indian stores in the local area without conferring any additional benefit. Admittedly, they do have a rather large selection of Indian groceries, but its hard to find anything worth buying when everything is overpriced. As for their restaurant, the food is okay but nothing great. It especially disappoints me that their portions sizes are on the smaller size, but the prices for their food seem to be relatively in tune with other Indian restaurants in the greater area with much larger portions.

Someone decided to start an Indian store one day and set up a store in a couple of hours - my impression of this place. You will find items haphazardly placed all over the store. Maybe they have done it on purpose to show Americans that Indians are largely unprepared and unorganized. Want to find something on your grocery list? Start rummaging through all the isles until you find it. The lack of space is yet another concern. Prices are also exceedingly high. And I was thinking that Patel Brothers in Chicago is a mess.

I usually go to this supermarket, because the vegs look fresh. The service is not that bad. I am writing this review to let people know that i bought a expensive rice bag, opened it after 2 weeks to find out it has white worms in it. its been a week and i havent had rice after seeing it. I called the store to warn them about the issue and to get a refund, since its been 2 weeks i couldnt trace the receipt so they got out of it. Please check your rice bag when you open them.

While Im not Indian there are a number of Indian foods I like particularly some of their snack foods and papadums. Im very particular about my snack foods and in my opinion Haldirams is a must. This place has a wide variety of Haldirams as well other brands of snack foods and a number of papadum options. I think this place has the widest variety of any Indian grocery Ive been to and would highly recommend coming here especially if youre not finding what you want elsewhere

High Priced - We recently moved from east coast to Portland. Searched online for indian grocery stores and found this one with good reviews. In the store we found all the prices are almost 1.5 to 2 times more than what we used to get in east coast. I am sure in other parts of west cost also has lesser/correct prices for indian groceries. We are going to check other stores nearby and verify. But for this store...for sure it is high priced and incorrectly highly rated...

This store has most of the Indian grocery items you would expect from a typical grocery store in India. The store is neat but moving around with a cart can be a little challenging during peak times. If you using a wheelchair, you will find it difficult to move around between the aisles. Fresh vegetables around available on Wednesdays.

Lots of selection of Indian foods, including staples (lentils, beans, rice), spices and herbs, prepared meals, frozen foods, sweets, and fresh produce. They also have personal hygiene products and cosmetics. Their produce section is a highlight. The selection is limited, but the quality is high and prices are low.

The supermarket is really good and have a lot of varieties of different products and you can get almost anything which can think of. BUT, the restaurant section is not good. I have tried Chole Bhature, biryani, dosa, thali... And other food, but none of them is striking good, u can cook better than their cook..

The food was good but I asked for a dish with no nuts because my daughter is allergic and the one they brought had nuts in it. I asked another guy that worked there of it was a nut and he said no. Then I asked another guys and he said yes. Their workers need more training.

I visited the restaurant in this store along with my Indian friend and colleague. Didnt like the food. My Indian friend agreed that the food didnt taste as good as it normally does.It appears there might be a problem of consistency here. NB: Ive only been here once.

My favorite indian store for grocery food and spice needs. Huge selection of dried, canned and frozen foods. Maybe the best in the area. Dont buy produce here, too expensive and not the best looking. Good supply of kitchen supplies and personel care products.

I found this place by accident I am guessing it is new. I love their selection of foods and toiletries, I especially love the soaps! Also the workers are all friendly, this is now my favorite indian grocery store here. And prices are good.
