This small market is very impressive. The fruits and vegetables are the freshest Ive seen. The fresh bread selection is just simply awesome. Every area of the store was well stocked, clean and organized. I just love small markets like this one because they offer all that a person desires, eliminating the need to go into the monster markets. I wish all supermarket operators go back to this model of doing business.

Sadly, I think one has to be white to be served at the butcher shop. I waited to be served while the two Caucasian butchers were serving other patrons. Then one got free and took another Caucasian male who got there after me. Then the second one got free and took another Caucasian male who also arrived after me. Not good. I thought this was San Francisco and those sorts of things didnt happen.

A retailer cant do all three things, but if quality & service are what youre looking for, this is the place. Great deli with prepared foods (and fresh made turkey) excellent produce and an awesome meat & fish market. They handle special advance orders with ease (60lbs of ribs, for example). Do not go here if youre looking for discounts & deals. D

Have lived in the neighborhood and been a faithful customer for 20 years and finally reaching the frustration level of writing a negative review. This is a very average market with the worst deli in the developed world. Im nonplussed by the gushing reviews!

Top Notch Neighborhood Market. Lots of great high-end products like Straus Family Creamery organic milk in glass jars. Great Little Deli with inexpensive sandwiches and pretty good salads. Also check out the Sweet Things Bakery inside. Dee-lish!

Cal-Mart is a fantastic place to shop with a great selection and super fresh food. Its just a little expensive, obviously. Its hard to do all your grocery shopping here, but perfect if you need to run in for a few high-quality items.

amazing $6 sandwich, made fresh to your liking. it can be a little busy sometimes, but for the quality and size of sandwich for the price, you really cant go wrong. i havent shopped there for groceries so i cant comment on them.

Great market. I frequent separate meat counter frequently. The butchers are very helpful and usually have a very good selection and cuts. You must pay at the butcher counter though not the market. A little pricey but worth it.

Overall pretty good, fruits + veggies are usually in great shape, very fresh. Suggest not coming here for heavy shopping though, stick to the fresh produce and meats as its a bit pricier than youd expect.
