I purchased a chair on 8/10 from Sunshine. It was a chair that matches the sectional I purchased previously and that I was told was out of stock but already on order. I was assured that this chair is a regularly carried item that would be delivered in 3-4 weeks (Was told 3-4 weeks when I purchased the sectional on 8/2.) I paid for the chair, plus delivery on 8/10, expecting and accepting that it should be in stock and delivered by 8/31. On 8/31, my husband called to check on the chair and was told that they would have to check on it and call him back. 2 days later, after no call back, I called and was told that it wasnt in yet and was expected the following week. So I waited and called back the following week, just to be placed on hold for 13 minutes, then told that it would be delivered definitely on 9/15. On 9/16, I called again and was told that the chair was not in stock yet and was given no specific delivery date. (When I said that wasnt acceptable, the girl on the phone said "well, its only the 16th". I wasnt happy with the 15th, so what makes her think that the 16th would be OK???) That evening, I went to Sunshine in person and demanded my $600 back in refund, because waiting 5 weeks for a regularly carried item that was promised in 3-4 weeks was unacceptable. I was told by their manager on duty that "I am going to enforce our All Sales Are Final policy". He did not even attempt to make us any happier as customers. Today is 9/21, and we finally received a call to set up delivery of our chair. When asked what the earliest delivery date is, we were told Wednesday, 9/24, a full 6 1/2 weeks after we purchased! It didnt take that long to get a special order couch from Mathis Brothers, that wasnt even built yet when I purchased it! For my money, Sunshine is NOT the best priced furniture store in town, their customer service is HORRIBLE, and they dont even appear to care about their customers or return business. For this reason, I will personally NEVER purchase anything from Sunshine again, and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone else. Their customer service stinks and their follow through does too. If it were possible to give a negative stars review, they definitely earned it!

I purchased $5358.53 worth of furniture including a Serta I comfort mattress. After receiving the mattress we realized first of all it was very uncomfortable, and also that it was shorter and wider than the king mattress that we had, we had forgot (Moved here from California 8 years ago) that we had a California king, not a regular king mattress, easy enough youd think, exchange it. So when I called and explained that when ever I sleep(I have a base that rises) I must put the back of the bead up because of sinus issues, I actually slide down the mattress and my feet hang over putting my legs to sleep, and with my other mattress that never happened because it was longer, all I wanted to do was exchange it for a California King(Ive kept the mattress incased in a mattress cover), now if I would have exchanged it for a up grade of $1200, they would have permitted me to do so, but not just exchanging it for the same mattress. So I am stuck with a I Comfort from Serta, that I cannot sleep on. Now never mind the fact that I also purchased new bedroom furniture, and back about 6 months ago I purchased two theater room recliners. I have done a fair amount of business with Sunshine Furniture in the last year, and I am shocked that they would not take care me in this instance.4/23/15 Just wanted to update, still no resolve with Sunshine Furniture, I did get a very arrogant message from the store manager on my answering machine about a week later telling me if I had a problem with my mattress to contact Serta direct.

This place is horrible I WOULDNT RECOMMEND this place to my worst enemy.I still have a broken foot on my couch its been two months and I have had the worst experience with the management you could ever have. Ive talked to them and left messages with every manager they have. Jennifer the night manager wont come to the phone. I even went up to the store to personally talk to her and she wouldnt come and talk to me. The store was completely dead. The sales manager ended up trying to help me with no luck. So I tried calling up to sunshine and catlynn a sales person hangs up on me three times because she is tired of paging the manager. I get a hold of the costumer service and ask for the manager I get Vicki she tells me that Im top priority and that she will call me with answers she has never called me and its going on a month. Vicki gave me her cell phone and I have called her daily she never answers her phone and I cant leave her a voicemail because her mailbox is completely filled. The first time I went in with my issue the manger took my information and said he would personally look into it Ive not even been able to get a hold of him not once. Im a very easy going guy Ive been very patient but this is completely ridiculous to have to deal with the lazy management. If your reading this and thinking about buying furniture spend the extra money and go to there better competitor just down the road. Im going to try and get the owners phone number Giovanni and plead with him to get my couch fixed.

Unprofessional and Do NOT recommend. They tell you what you want to hear and as soon as you check out, you are on your own. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We have bought Beds, mattresses, couch, chair, ottoman, dressers at all different times and each and every time it gets worse. This last purchase was such a bad experience I had to write a review to WARN OTHERS….DO NOT BUY From SUNSHINE! We couldnt get anything that day so I was going to have to send my wife to pick up The furniture for our living room. The sales person ensured me that the men at the loading dock would help her load it and secure it. I even had her take additional ratchet straps for them to use to make sure everything was secure. They said she was good to go and off she went. Well…in the middle of the turnpike the chair flew out. The men that loaded it made up a story saying she “refused” there rope since she had her own ties and they said that they did secure the chair before she left. After viewing the video the doc manager said himself that they did NOT strap or tie down the chair. After all this, and them admitting they didnt do what they promised to do, they would not replace the chair because it is our responsibility to ensure the furniture is secure. Now, I have the responsibility to warn everyone that considers to buy furniture at Sunshine…please reconsider. I know there is not much selection in Tusla, but STAY AWAY for this place!

Is there a way to leave no stars? Lets start with I ordered a sectional sofa, and 2 weeks later no word on delivery I called 2 times with no response finally by the third call in 5 days someone called me back to let me know that my sofa would be on a truck to the store later in the week. By 3 weeks following order date I get a call that my sofa could be delivered in a week. When the date came for a Saturday morning, when the delivery guys got there they attempted to get in my door, however some railing around my porch made it difficult for these 2 guys and they scratched the couch badly on the railing. They tried another door and still wouldnt fit through that doorway. They loaded it back on to the truck and left without letting me know what to do. I didnt sign for anything either. Also, with all of this going on one of the delivery guys was rude and such a smart ass the whole time that I was ready for him to leave my home. After they left, I contact the store. No one in customer service was available, I called another time and the girl who answered was really rude and said shed let customer service know. 3 hours after the delivery truck left they called and basically told me that its not refundable and my problem the sofa is at the warehouse. Once I told her that I would tell everyone I know how rude and terrible the customer service for Sunshine is, she hung up on me.
