Today is my birthday and my young son decided to send me a bouquet of flowers for the first time, on his own. I received the flowers, which were okay, but not the balloon my son had also ordered. He was extremely disappointed because he had planned this out and saved his money for a long time. I immediately called Designs by Tammy and informed them of their mistake. I was told by the woman that answered that the balloon would be delivered as soon as one of the drivers returned, as both of them were out. I expressed concern that they wouldnt make it that day as it was near 4:00. She assured me repeatedly that the balloonn would be delivered today, before 5:00. Two minutes after we hung up, she called me back and said neither driver would be able to deliver the balloon after all! I expressed amazement at their incompetence and requested my son be reimbursed. She offered to deliver the balloon tomorrow, 6/1. Well, today is my birthday, not tomorrow. If you screw up an order, you should do everything in your power, even if you have to drive your own car, to make it right THAT DAY! Not when its convenient for you. Unfortunately, my son called 1-800 Flowers who used Designs by Tammy to fill the order, and theyre known (in my experience) to use the crappiest florists available. Needless to say, well never knowingly use Designs by Tammy again and I will make sure everyone I know doesnt use them, either. Theyll lose a lot more than the cost of a $5 balloon by the time Im finished. Were from San Diego, so I dont know why Im surprised by this behavior.

My husband wanted to get me flowers for an early anniversary surprise, since he will be out of town on the actual day. He called Designs by Tammy directly and went and picked them up on Tuesday. When I received the flowers, they were beautiful! I was so happy & surprised. But the next morning, I woke up and a couple of the flowers look wilted. I didnt really think about it until that afternoon, every flower in the vase looked bad. I know cut flowers dont last forever, but I would hope that they would last more than one day. I called Designs by Tammy to see if they would do anything. The lady acted like I was wasting her time & would hardly talk to me. She ended up saying since my husband bought them he would need to bring them back in. I told her that was not possible because he is out of town, & by the time he got home it wouldnt matter because they would be dead. Florists are the worst people to work with. I use to work for one of the big name wiring services, and all the florists do is complain that they dont make enough money & how the floral industry is dying. Well is that is true why dont you do everything in your power to make someone happy, especially if they came directly to your shop & didnt go through one of the wire services. Definitely wont be going back to Designs by Tammy.

I have only shopped at Designs by Tammy twice and Im sad to say I probably wont again. A couple years ago we were ordering flowers for our wedding and wanted particular flowers. When my arranger got there to pick up the flowers she said these arent the flowers we ordered and we were told well those are out of season yet this wasnt communicated when we were ordering and they were just replacing it with something else. After much time I decided to give them a try and order a coursage for my sons date to Winter Formal and when ordering I was shown pictures of the flowers to be used but when I picked it up they used a different type of rose and they were tiny. I was so disappointed mostly for my son who would have to give that to his date. I expressed my frustration in a nice way and was answered short and then asked if they could add 2 more roses to fix it. While waiting for them to fix it I found a small item to purchase from the floor and they slipped in a charge to FIX the coursage and I didnt realize it until I got in the car. It looked better but still not what we thought we were ordering and at a bigger price. Just not right. Not to mention, I could hear everyone in the back talking about us like we had done something wrong by saying we didnt like it.

Never again will call Tammy s flowers I ordered a 75.00 Valentines arrangement and received a arrangement worth about 29.99 it had 3 roses and 3 flowers and a lot of greenery my wife was upset with it so I call and talk to Katie ask for Tammy and never talked to her Katie did took care of all of the stories first she tells me they have temp help and that is the problem and would pick the arrangement back up and redo it I said I want my money back she says that they do not give refunds but could give me a discount on my next order Now who is stupid enough to call Tammy s and get ripped off again she also said that on Valentine, day a 75.00 dollar arrangement is actually a 50.00 arrangement because of inflation (what a joke) so to sum it up Katie did send another arrangement out that was nice but still maybe a 39.99 arrangement 2 old roses opening up already and a nice orchid but still a lot of cheap greenery (STAY AWAY FROM TAMMY,S FLORIST) IN EDMOND CALL MADELINES THEY WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT.

Both my sister and I used designs by Tammy for our weddings in the past 2 years. Tammy and her crew are absolutely wonderful! They take the time to really help you and figure out what you want as well as working diligently to keep everything within your price range. I didnt know anything about flowers and meeting with Tammy helped tremendously because she took the time to explain things to me and work within my budget. She kept me updated throughout the entire process from payment to when the flowers would be ordered and provided great ideas and incite to help decorate. In addition, she arrived promptly on my wedding day, set up and even did chair bows for me. Everything looked perfect, the flowers were beautiful and fresh. Designs by Tammy really goes above and beyond, they were wonderful and have my business for life! ~ Alyssa

These bozos did the fulfillment for an order I placed with 1-800-FLOWERS. First they completely screwed up the order. Then when they came back the next day with a replacement, they refused to deliver it until the recipient returned the first arrangement, even though 1-800-FLOWERS had never said this was a prerequisite for receiving the replacement. Then the delivery boy asked the recipient to discuss the matter with his supervisor, who was incredibly rude. His "solution" to the problem was for her to take some flowers out of the new arrangement and stick them in the first one herself. When she refused and said they could keep the second arrangement, the surly cretin hung up on her. You couldnt pay me enough to do business again with these jerks. They go "above and beyond" all right. But not in a good way.
