Wanted to get ceiling fans and a grill. Went to the Home Depot in Warren Ohio. I will never go there again. Or any Home Depot after the experience I just had. After walking in and looking through the grills we wanted to talk to someone about them. We stood around looking for anyone in the department and no one was around. So I went to the customer service desk and asked if someone could be paged to help us. She said yes and walked back to the desk and I walked back to the grills and waited with my husband. And waited. No one came. So I went to the fans to pick one out only to find the one I wanted only had one on the shelf so I had to pick two different ones. Then walked back to the grills where NO ONE was there helping my husband yet. So I went to the garden center desk and asked for someones help. They told me there was no one. But they would call and ask for someone to go there. So I walked back to the grills again. No one came. So I went to the customer service desk again and she said she did call the garden center. It was back and forth. I went to walk around the store to find someone. Found a guy and he said I am not in that department. Lets walk to the garden center and find someone. I said I did that already along with going to the customer service center. Again the garden center called again for someone. No one came. So I went back to the garden center and asked for a manager. Finally he came over. They didnt have the grill we wanted but there was one similar but it was beat up, bent and the door fell off when he opened it in front of the manager and it was missing the rubber buds for the lid to close properly. The manager said I can only give you 25 off because this is grill season. I grill all year round. Grilling has no season if you ask me. And the thing had missing parts and was dinged up. Every box we looked at for grill had holes in it and was not properly put on the shelves. So we took the grill and fans to the check out. Mind you the grill was an expensive grill to begin with and was a floor model. Stood in line for a while and was told we could go to the "pro center" to check out. So we went there and stood in line. Finally getting to the register and told the cashier the manager said take $25 off the grill. He said whats his name. Well he never gave us his name but told him what he was wearing and carried around the walkie talkie cell phone thing. No apron. So he told us he couldnt give us the discount because we didnt know his name. I am not sure but he may have called him. We got the discount and then my husband told him he had a military ID. The kid said ok. And looked at it and said we dont take those ones. I was shocked as Men/women who serve their country are military PERIOD. So all the retired military men and women with old style IDs are no longer able to receive this discount? I am ashamed and disappointed in Home Depot completely. I will never shop there again. We walked out without the merchandise and spent our money at Lowes. Less money and the people there were excellent and so nice.

Looking for a product and their app has no indication of where to find it. I ask a worker, and she takes my phone out of my hands and starts scrolling around. Then she left it on her podium and walks away checking her own phones app. Eventually she asked another worker walking and he points me in the wrong direction. Eventually found them myself (only 4 versus the 11 the site said they had) literally on the floor under stacks of wood covered in dirt. Looks like they havent sold any in a while.... Wonder why?

My wife went to Home Depot today and was disappointed in customer service in the kitchen department. The gentleman who was working area never acknowledged her and all she wanted was a sample of countertop that she could not reach. He continued to act busy until she left to find another salesman and when she returned he was no where to be found !! Very disappointing - u may need to work on customer relations.

We went here after Christmas to see what sales they had available. The merchandise didnt quite match what was available online, but Im not surprised. The store was a bit messy and disorganized, making it hard to look through everything. It looked like the staff was busy elsewhere and so they werent around to get help. They also didnt seem to have time to put unwanted items away, making a mess of stock.

Its a shame this is just about the only option to shop home repair,etc. You have to wait forever to get help, and 90 percent of the time you have to solve your own problems. Just dumped almost 500.00 there in less than a hour, asked for help three times, with zero response. AWFUL!!!!

I love this store! I try to make it to the kids workshops! The kids love them and my budget loves them even more because they are FREE! The projects are always cool too. For Valentines Day we made a wooden Valentines Day card box with a picture window. Best idea ever!

Every time I call its just a big run around. I am usually on the hold for 10 mins then they direct me to a new person then redirect me again and still get no answers or they hangup. I feel like no one knows what is going on and its very frustrating.
