This USE to be an excellent second hand store. But with several changes in mgt, the quality of clothes has deteriorated immensely. They use to wash every item. I was told by a worker that isnt the case anymore. There are so many stained items now...my last visit I pulled obviously stained items out and gave to the manager. I pulled more than two dozen shirts in less than 5 minutes. These items would he better served to be donated to homeless shelters, shipped to third world countrues, or as in the past- disposed of. The quality of items is what use to set Savers apart from other thrift stores. Esp since Saver prices are so much higher in comparison. The "class" of Savers has disintegrated as has its customer service and mgt. I will say that the intake employees at the drop off...are very friendly and informative ...and make the donation process pleasurable. THIS area is greatly improved despite the failures of mgt inside. The reason I support Savers over goodwill is based on Easter Seals. My grandmother was blessed with an Easter seals assistance when her Alzheimers took over her mind and life. The assistance and dignity the service gave to her and my parents was incredible....I go out of my way to support easter seals and savers for the past decade. But even the pick up postcards for donations have changed. I called to arrange a pickup of items including a nice couch, recliner, toys, household goods, and clothes but was told that they only have one man on the truck now so I would need to bring the couch and recliner in myself. THAT IS RIDICULOUS! IT IS NONSENSICAL TO WASTE GAS OF A CARGO TRUCK TO PICK UP A SMALL CARLOAD OF ITEMS IN COMPARISON TO THE FURNITURE. I donated to habitat for humanity instead....and my carload to goodwill bcz I wont support idiocy. You need new managers on all levels bcz their decisions are counter productive to generating sales, satisfied happy clientale, and a good supply of merchandise. I use to go several times a month...now only a few times a year.

I have shopped at Savers in Toledo and some of their prices on nick nacks and curios are quite high. I have, however, found some fairly decent Clothing there, and sometimes they have some good deals on old 10 speed bikes and larger items in the back. I just called there today to find out if they were going to have a 4th of July Sale and the woman on the phone was super-quick, rude and downright mean......i.e...."I was wondering if you are having a 4th----(I was interrupted at this point by a VERY sharp-toned, "NO!") The same thing happened when I started to ask about their hours of operation, I was cut-off again with this bitchy interruption for my answer. The worker may be busy or having a bad day, but she has no business working in retail if she is going to treat potential customers like that. I called 2 different Kohls Departments Stores today, looking for specific New Balance Cross-Training Shoes and the sales associates at both Kohls Locations were so incredibly patient, professional, kind and helpful that I decided I will be spending my money there tomorrow!

We just discovered the Savers chain stores this we weekend and we will make this a store that we visit regularly when we are near. Savers is like Goodwill or Salvation Army on steroids. The stores are lager and typically better organized than the former. The clothing selection was great and and the racks were well organized. They have a club discount program and just happened to have a fifty percent off sale while we were there. The store also promotes the Easter Seals organization for disabled people even though it itself is a for profit store. Great store with great prices and a great selection of goods.

This is by far the worst thrift store I have ever been to. Luckily the over priced items they did have were very well organized (since nobody would ever buy them at the retail price). My kid wanted some used sand toys for the beach-2.99. Luckily the dollar store is right across the street where you can get the exact same thing for a dollar. My husband took a tie to the front figuring it would be 2$ at most, the lady decided it would be 7.99. FOR A USED TIE. maybe if you are used to shopping at Nordstrom the prices will seem decent, but if you are looking for a well priced thrift store, DO NOT SHOP HERE.

This place is shady and overpriced. They claim to be a thrift store that gives to charity, but in actuality, they only give a few cents per item of clothing to charity while pocketing the rest. And they dont give any money to charity for non-clothing items. The clothing is dirty and unwashed. Ive seen stains and cat hair all over shirts prices at $7.99. Not to mention rat feces on one pair of pants and bed bugs in a dress. Do yourself a favor and head over to Goodwill- its a better value, and you actually help out a good charity. And its not nasty.

Very well organized and clean store. The staff does a great job at arranging items in a sensible manner, and unlike the Goodwill just up the street, there isnt so much merchandise on the shelves that it is overwhelming and hard to get to. Nice selection of picture frames, housewares, sheets, trashcans, books, games. I havent purchased clothes from here but the racks are organized. I have been to most of the thrift stores including the savers, Goodwills, Salvation Armies in Toledo and the surrounding suburbs and this Savers is easily one top 2 .

They have a wide variety of things and the quality of their merchandise is usually above average. The store is always neat & clean. The service I have experienced is excellent- the manager is friendly & helpful. They sometimes sell new things for a great deal. The clothes are usually in good condition but the obviously wornout looking clothes should be priced lower. This Savers is my favorite but all of them charge too much for shoes, clothes and purses.

I love how on Mondays everything is 50% off. It is very easy to join the club membership too. I go here all the time and it is very clean and organized. They have brand name things too. My sister found Victoria Secret leggings which usually are about 25 to $30 she got them for $2 after using the 50% off on Monday. You can get great deals here all the time.

Will not work with Melissa. She has a very unprofessional attitude. She was rude and would not allow me to purchase craft supplies that I clearly opened to inspect. She said that they can not be sold after they are opened. I told her that I WAS BUYING TRY HEM. She glated and shook her head. I was not stealing them. She lost a faithful customer

This store is way to over priced. Books from 1960 they want $3.99. I dont think so. Pots and Pans that you can buy brand new from family dollar for $8+tax, they want $6.99+tax. Thats ridiculous.
