A little over a week ago my wife and I bought some laminate floor from this location of Lumber Liquidators. After trying for the past week to put the floor down it became evident that the floor seemed to be chipping incredible easy. We tried different tapping blocks and techniques to prevent this from happening with no such luck. This is not the first floating floor I have put down, and I have never had a problem with the veneer chipping back up as you try to put it down. So this was already frustrating but the customer service I experienced upon trying to take the material back is what will keep me from ever returning to another lumber Liquidators. I took back all of my unopened boxes and I brought a few samples to show them of how badly the floor was chipping. When I walked into the store there was an employee behind the register, as I approached him and began to talk to him (he never gave his name) he noticed that I carried in some pieces with me, and at this point I could tell he didnt really care what I had to say. I tried to explained to him what was happening and possibly work something out, during this time he never even really looked up from the computer until I quit talking. Then it was just to say "its store credit or a 20% re stocking fee, swing around out back". I tried to explain I was only returning it because the material seemed to be poor quality, and that if they would let me I would gladly bring all of it back. He just repeated himself but slightly louder. It was at this point I decided it wasnt worth wasting my time anymore. They made it seem very clear to me that after you buy the product from them they dont care one way or the other how your flooring project goes, and they take no responsibility for the quality of materials that they are selling you.

I wish I could give this no stars but you have to click on one. Anyways my husband and I bought floors from the store at Brice rd and they wouldnt even click together. My brother in law has been doing construction , remodeling, upgrades for 20 years now and he said the flooring they sold us was the cheapest he has ever seen. And they werent cheap floors. We spent close to 1,000 for the kitchen. Do yourself a favor. Go to Home Depot. I save a 100.00 and got better floors

Cori was fantastic helping me figure out the materials I needed for my project and even lending some advice to install it myself. Yes I will definitely be back for my next project.
