THE CABINETS And COUNTER TOP WAS NOTHING LIKE THE COMPUTER READOUT GIVEN TO ME ... Dont buy Cabinets or counter tops at MENARDS.. I spent over 4 thousand dollars on cabinets that didnt fit, you couldnt open the drawers, [there wasnt space in the corners] the drawers would bang into each other... The countertop was 3inch round and not 1inch round which caused a Hugh problem [I had to add a 1inch trim to the back splash in order for the counter top to fit the cabinets... THE original drawing for the cabinets and the corner round for the counter top was changed after I left [having spent 7 hours with that department] .. then at the store closing they call me and tell me that I have to rush back to the store to sign the papers or the order wont go in on time...I TOOK THEM AT THERE WORD,,, and IT COST ME.......

Paint department has a lady that doesnt care whether she sells paint are not. Gave name of paint, brand, SKU# and MEN# and stated in Flat. In return was told "Oh there are several shades, ok then show #s gave 43C-1 which was the paint I wanted. Nooo she also gives 441-1 which is frog figures and then MEN7053-1 which goes right back to the paint wanted to start with. By then it was a case of leave before making scene. So today had to pay fee to handyman for cancelling (short notice) so Thank You Paint Lady for such WONDERFUL service. Called and spoke with Dept. Head Scott and in short words, I dont know who that could have been I was behind counter most of day, so guess that means no big deal, just sweep under floor. On to next customer........

Recently we bought cabinets from there and over half of them had manufacturers defects. Which doesnt sound like it is the fault of the store. However when we returned them they were nice enough to let us know that the brand was total crap and they get returns from them all the time. On top of that when switching to a different brand the sales associate completely resized all but 4 of our cabinets without telling us! We were able to get the price of our cabinets refunded thankfully but theyre still battling us about the 96 dollar shipping which they told me over the phone they were going to refund. Do not buy cabinets from ANY menards! Even their highest quality cabinets cant hold a candle to the base models of Lowes and Home Depot.

Excellent experience. There was staff available in each department I shopped, which is very important to me as a consumer. I found all I was shopping for on this visit, an the materials I need for my next project with the help of department staff. Just my opinion: When you dont staff each department know one is there to answer questions which sends me to shop where I can ask the questions before I make my purchase. I do understand the man hours but you also have to look at it from the consumers perspective, we want someone to talk to that can help us...

They have everything one could need for home work, but their front end is so wishy washy. Sometimes I have a super nice person, and sometimes I have the rudest people on earth. It was a two star, but I gave them a third because I am here often, and I have wasted SO much of their time brainstorming projects. Not intentionally, just thinking and planning. Future reviews will be more accurate of my individual experiences, this kind of wraps up the past 4 years of shopping here.

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!!!!!. i ordered fencing from this store. First they screwed up the price, then they screwed up the delivery twice and delayed me for 3 weeks. I burned two vacation days waiting on there delivery which came with a incomplete order. I then had to go to Home Depot to get everything to start and finish job. Complained to managers which did nothing about it nor did they care. Dont waste or time or money just go to Home Depot or Lowes from start

The customer service at the Sandusky menards is not very impressive, first its hard to find anyone to help and when you do find them, it does not get any better. We spent a lot of time and money there recently and it was very frustrating. Unfortunately you have to go to all three of the home stores when doing a project because they all have different items but the sales help at the other two is way better.

We ordered tongue and groove flooring for our porch a week prior to pick up. When we picked it up, they loaded the wrong item. We waited over an hour before they came back with the correct item (all while we had a crew waiting to install the floor). The employee was a rude and so was the manager. They dont give a flip about the customer. Terrible experience.

Had a delivery scheduled for late morning or early afternoon. When I called to check on my delivery at 1:00 pm I was told by 6:30 pm, I was told they had a lot of deliveries. When I called in my order they only had a couple in the morning, guess I got bumped to the end of the line. Never again!! I will shop elsewhere.

Bought a rototiller there and the tines would not turn off and it kept throwing the belt. Called and they told me it was a service issues and as soon as I put gas and oil in it, they no longer had anything to do with it. They are truly not worth it. MUCH better service at Home Depot or LOWES.

Huge and comprehensive selection yet hard to navigate. Groups of similar items are very nicely organized, yet quite isolated within the store. Im a lumber junky myself, and I have to say that I am very impressed with the incredible variety available in the aisles and in the barn.

Dont Bother going here their so called customer service is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!! Just make sure you NEVER USE CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to LOVE this place I will be taking my business to Lowes or Home Depot from now on THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible experience! Couldnt find what we needed asked 4 different people before finally some kid with a bad attitude found them (1 hour later) next time Ill go somewhere where people actually know what there doing!

Love it here, they always have the best selection of lights out of any home improvement store. My husband and I also always find great toys for our two German short-haired pointers here as well.

Great selection, decent prices, friendly staff, and great service. Awesome return policy as well. Hours are wrong on Google though. Theyre only open until 9PM, not 10PM.

Menards has a better selection of items than Home Depot or Lowes and very competitive prices. Very helpful staff too.
