Mann Jewelers has a great selection of higher end jewelry and watches but lacks an appropriate amount of customer service in my opinion. This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had. I personally do not recommend them. My background on the store is that I purchased a Breitling Chronomat 44 Flying Fish within the last week from them. I had made it very clear that I was looking for a Chronomat 44 GMT but it wasnt until the sale was nearly completed, that the salesperson realized it wasnt. As a matter of fact, it wasnt until they were setting the time on the watch that it was realized. Again - it wouldnt have been the end of the deal but it was clear that any attention to detail was amiss. Perhaps on my end too. After purchasing the watch, I was walked out by the representative to a vendor located outside their store to size the band. This was apparently standard practice so I walked. This is where it got interesting. The technician working (not his fault) indicated that he wasnt allowed to size the band because of the watches value. I was then told by the sales rep to go to another store within the mall and have them do it but to "bring them the receipt" and they would reimburse for the work. Needless to say, the other stores wouldnt resize it either because of the value. Ultimately, I ended up chasing down the sales representatives from Mann while they were leaving the store (it was closing) and asked what they recommended. It was suggested that I come back another day. Leaving them, I returned to the original third party vendor and explained the situation and offered to waive any liability if something where to happen. It should be clearly stated that the guy did a GREAT job and I was able to leave wearing the watch. My review of Mann Jewelers is that if youre looking for a luxury buying experience dont purchase from them.

Called in December....wanted to sell my Omega Planet Ocean 8500 barely worn in superb condition with factory warranty. Spoke with Linda and told her that I knew Govberg was an Omega dealer and asked just out of curiosity what they would pay for the watch. I was told $3150.00 if it was a complete set...which it is. By the way the retail is now $6300 I believe. Brought it in today as I took it out of storage...low and behold...Linda offered me $2000.00. Not surprised..... Use your own Judgment

Great Selection, Poor Service. I purchased a watch. Three months after purchase the battery died. This watch requires pressure testing when replacing the battery (total cost for battery replacement: $125). Mann Jewelers would not cover the price of battery replacement. (Even the manufacturer was surprised that Mann Jewelers wouldnt cover the cost).

We had a great experience with Danielle and Linda from Govbergs! They helped us pick out exactly what I wanted, ordered it, and when it came in early, they shipped it to Maine so my husband could surprise me! They also gave us appraisals for both our watches so we could adequately insure them! Its now our preferred jewelry store!
