Went into the local store, saw what we liked asked about price and was very pleased.. We applied for the leasing wasnt approved for one but ended up being approved for another with that we decided to add the love seat to the Sofa we were only going to get. Did all the necessary paperwork, and agreed to have the $99 delivery fee added to the purchase price, was told it would be delivered on Monday (10-24-16), never was told a time frame on delivery ... called the store twice to be told that deliveries are done between 12-9pm and I would get a phone call one hour before delivery.. Sat home ALL day waiting for our sofa and loveseat to be delivered and nothing.. finally at 6:45 pm get a call stating that they were extremely backed up... and if I wanted it delivered it wont be until either close to 11pm or after.. and the lady said " I dont think anyone wants someone coming into their home at 11pm"... So now it is suppose to be delivered sometime between 12 -8pm tomorrow (10-25-16) but couldnt give me a set time and someone will call me one hour before it will be delivered..and she was noting it on invoice to have it delivered pretty quickly... Needless to say I am pretty irritated that I waited all day with NO call until 6:45pm. So I guess I wont see any accomodations for the inconvenience that I was placed in for waiting all day for something that they couldnt reach out earlier in the day to call. I like Payless Furniture and Mattress, think they have decent prices, not sure if I will have any issues with my furniture...since I havent had mine yet... but I am hoping something will be done if they want repeat business

Salesperson seemed very pushy even though I did buy three mattresses and box springs, sales man wanted to know if l wanted frames and after he told me they would be 50.00 a piece I declined and stated I would get them elsewhere and I thought he was going to come unglued and insisted I buy his because they were s o much more heavy duty, I purchased one just to satisfy him, after I got home I noticed I didnt get the frame and emediately called called back, this person said he would bring them to my house that night but never showed, the next day at my work the salesman,Steven called and and wanted me to fill out this survey and was telling me everything that he wanted me to say, like what a great salesman he was and what a good deal he gave us and how nice and considerate he was and on and on and on he went, said he would deliver frame to my home when I got off work at 4:00 and I agreed, he started on what he wanted wrote about him on this survey and finally had to tell him I had to get back to work, needless to say I still havent received my frame that I have paid for, am satisfied with the items I purchased and very dis satisfied with the service I have reviewed from the time I walked in until now. By the way my salesman name was Steve.

I purchased a sofa from Payless furniture (Miamisburg, Oh) and after it was delivered I noticed the cushions were uneven and had lumps on the inside if the pillows. I called the store and reported the problem immediately, I was asked to bring the pillows to the store I told the sales man the pillows are attached, but I have taken pictures. I received an email stating they did not see an issue and asked me to explain what the issue was, which I did in the initial e-mail. I called Monday no manager was available, but was assured a manager would call me back. I went to the store on Tuesday of course no Manager was in the store, but was told I would get a call back. Needless to say I have not heard from a manager. I sent another e-mail today. I have decided to report Payless Furniture to the BBB. Take my advice and do not purchase anything from this store. The good reviews I use to give this store will now be negative!! I find it very appauling to be lied to and not at least given the courtesy of a phone call.

We recently ordered a coffee table and three end tables from this place. Okay priced. But everything else was exactly what we were looking for. We get the product 2 weeks later and the wheels are broke in several pieces. We call to ask for replacement and they take our number, said someone will call us back . We wait 4 whole days and no call back. So we call again. Same thing. So the third call we FINALLY speak with someone, tell them what happened and they say yeahyeah okay, well order it and my husband ask if he needs our info or account number. He says I know who you are, recites our name, says it can take up to two weeks to come in and hangs up. We wait 3 weeks and then call them again. They say, oh we can order those for you, just bring in the broken piece or take a picture. Seriously? So after 4+ weeks they never even ordered the piece. All the employees take turns chain smoking and then approach you smelling so strong of smoke it knocks you down. We should have known better, really.

I have purchased from this store twice. I had my items delivered the day they said it would be, Two times over I got exactly what I paid for and picked out. I have had no problems with my mattress sets, couch, or chair, sleigh bed, ect. Yes I spent alot. But I also spent more money and got better made furniture, As with any store and anything you get what you pay for. If you pay 600 for a couch your getting a 300 couch. Its that simple, because of mark ups and the middle man. They are not in the back making the furniture, Also if you look into any store they have complaints, and 90% have a lawsuit or have been bankrupt at some time, Use a credit card instead of cash because you can not legally be charged for something that you didnt accept delivery of or get delivery of. But myself I have not had any of these problems and hope not to. I do agree a time frame for delivery would be helpful

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE!!!!!!! I spent 2000 dollars in this store and had an issue with the fabric coming off of the foot of the chair so they came out and stapled it then the staples fell out within 2 days and my 8 month old grandson found them on the floor so I called them out and they wanted to shoot screws into the wood and fabric I bought this furniture 2 months ago!!! 2000 dollars!!! I am not going to let them shoot screws into my new furniture and make it look bad called to speak to manager he is out of town until next week asked to speak to owner hes out of town for a month I wish I had known this before I spent my money there I will never spend another dime in this store and will tell everyone I come in contact with to never buy anything from this company

I bought furniture here for my family room. On the day of delivery, I spoke to Curt, the salesperson and he informed me that the couch was damaged in shipping and so it would be delivered the following week. I received the loveseat and recliner as promised. I noticed the recliner had a bad spot on it and called the store. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews on here but I have to say, they could not have been nicer or more professional. They delivered my new couch on the day that was promised and swapped the recliner for a new one at the same time. My only complaint is that I wish they would give you a two hour window for delivery or at least narrow it down a bit. Other than that, everything went smooth and I would shop there again.
