As a Loveland resident, I try to support local businesses as often as possible. I have purchased a firearm from target world and I thought it was a pleasant experience. They took the time to explain EVERYTHING about the pistol. Ive been to Shooters Supply about a dozen times. I have purchased a number of firearms from them and tons of accessories/ammunition. The first time was a bit intimidating. There are numerous people around the counter being waited on and there is no evidence of a line. NO ONE EVER GREETS YOU. When you walk into the store, you get a very cold feeling because no one even acknowledges you. You just dont know if you should stand behind someone, go up to the counter etc. The owner is an exceptional gentleman. He will spend all the time in the world with you and explain everything about your firearm as well as any other random questions you have. Why the negative review. Some of their staff just doesnt give a $#&(. On one visit, there was a unique rifle that I asked about. The person behind the counter said, "and dont even think about asking me to look at it unless you have $1500 in your pocket." Then followed up his comment by saying, its just a heavy gun. Seriously, how heavy can something meant to be carried be? It was just pure laziness. On my visit yesterday, I wanted to see if I could add to my collection. There was a gentlemen behind the counter with a beard and glasses. I asked him to see a rifle that was on display and it was very similar to one that I already owned. I asked him what one particular feature was and he scolded me, "its the forward action!". "What does that do I asked?" He abruptly grabbed the rifle from me and said, "look!". I didnt understand what I was looking at and he laughed and shook his head. I am a CCW holder and have been trained on gun safety. I did not do anything unsafe or anything to warrant this guys attitude. I smiled, said thank you and walked out. Will I purchase from them again, yes because they are still a local business. My recommendation to you, go to Target World, Point Blank or any other business where they actually care.

I have been to so many gun stores I get dizzy just thinking about it and trying to keep track of it all is very difficult. I luckily stumbled apon this store, I didnt really know what to expect. There were so many things in this shop that I personally had been looking for or had not purchased because of high prices it was ridiculous. There ammo is priced to sell, better than any place for a hundred miles, and online! They had used guns, new guns and all the things you want to go with them, even though its not a huge store. The prices on most of the guns were better than I have seen at any show or shop. The customer service was outstanding! While I was looking I saw that they will look for guns and special items for you and not make a fuss about it. They will order things for you and try to get you about anything you can come up with. I have been shooting since I was 5 and I am 31 now. I spent 4 1/2 years in the service and got out on a medical after being sent back to Germany from Iraq. I have had some bad head injuries and it was nice to see that they care about veterans and took the time to listen to me ramble even though they didnt have too. If you like: shooting, hunting, collecting, need some home protection, sport shooting and competition or just plinking cans this is the store for you. I have been to the 2 typical types of gun shops A. The one were the guy doesnt know which end the bullets come out of and B. The shops were they treat like an idiot for not knowing everything about every gun ever made. I am sick of that and sooooooo glad I found this store. You get more with honey than you do with vinigar. I hope if you took the time to read this it helped you make a better decision on were you should go. Thank you shooter supply, Nicholas R. Allen - NRA

Ive only been here once, and loved it right off the bat. I couldve swore the mans name was Dave, but after reading other reviews it sounds like it mightve been Dan. I know little about guns and went there with a friend who knows even less, my friend asked the man a question I thought to be obvious but the man behind the counter took it as a mission to answer my friends question, went above and beyond to answer questions my friend didnt even know he had. He also told me of things I didnt know to help me decided between two shotguns o had been considering, Im actually going against his opinion but will be in his shop to get the one I chose. I heard about this store through another friend who told me no matter what firearm Im after, these guys can get it and at a price that cant be beaten which I found to be true from asking about the shotguns I was after. Great place, great staff, at least give it a shot.

I have been a client of SSS since it opened. Indeed I was the attorney that helped incorporate them. They and Targetworld (which I once represented in a small capacity when Hugh owned it) are the two main places I buy stuff. I have never seen any of the rudeness the customer below this review stated. And I have spent hundreds of hours in the shop. I use them for transfers, estate sales of relatives and so forth. Danny (and now retired Marvin) are two of the best people in the business. Donny is another guy who is extremely knowledgeable and has found me guns at other dealers when they couldnt get what I needed. While their selection is not as good as TW or some of the other big shops, I always recommend them to beginners because they will get detailed information

I have never owned a pistol so after hearing good things from my CCW trainer I decided to call up and see if they had some of the guns I was interested in. They had them all, no exceptions. I went in three times and each time someone conversed with me at length about my options and the pros/cons of each. "Hugh", who works Fridays and Saturdays, in particular was incredibly knowledgeable with a lot of great advice that I had not heard elsewhere. He taught me how to take apart and clean my gun right there and said if I needed any assistance to just walk on in. Incredible, highly recommended.

I am new to buying firearms and the guys at Shooters Supply in Loveland Ohio, expecially Rick are awesome. They answer any question you have and never made me feel like I was stupid to ask it. They are very knowledgable, friendly and humorous. I have bought a Beretta pistol and two Rock River Arms rifles from them now. They have the best prices around and just such wonderful service. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Heck, I drive past three other gun shops to visit these guys. Try them out, you wont be disappointed!
