I recently paid Claridon Resale Cars a visit in search of two vehicles, a van and a pick up truck. They have a decent selection of vehicles to choose from on the surface, upon taking test drives I notes issues with the vehicles and the response was "I didnt know about that". These issues were with soft brakes, suspension damage and other issues that can be accident causing if not taken care of. After trying a few vans I found one that I liked and wanted to purchase. There was no price negotiation, mind you I was willing to pay cash in hand, I noted a missing spare tire and broken spare tire mount along with extremely clouded over headlights. The salesman refused to budge on the price and when I told them that I would buy the van if they gave me a spare tire and buffed the headlights clean. They flat out refused, keep in mind that they had other vans on the lot that they could have easily taken the spare tire from and $20 in buffing compound would have landed the sale. The vehicle was overpriced to begin with, $2700 for a 96 caravan with +140K no spare tire and headlights that needed either buffed or replaced. During the so called negotiation process the owner basically told me to take my money elsewhere because I wouldnt just pay what he felt the van was worth. So if you are looking for a car lot that is willing to negotiate their pricing and is aware of the condition of their vehicles I would continue on past this lot.

I recently bought a car from this lot and it was one of the worst car buying experiences I have had to date. The owner was extremely rude and condescending throughout the whole process. 24 hours after purchasing a vehicle from him the tail pipe fell off as I drove down the highway, would not recommend this place to anyone.

Decent cars at decent prices how many day are used cars so theyre not perfect but theyre in very good shape I didnt see any rust buckets on the lot
