This is my go-to thrift store and we have been shopping here for 20 years! Daily they offer two colors of tags that are automatically 50% off, so items with those colors are extremely inexpensive. I have found d everything here at one time or another (except furniture; they just dont have the space for it unless it is a small item). When my children were little I always found cute outfits for them that were in excellent condition. Currently I shop mostly for myself and my husband (teens like Platos!). I have found clothing in excellent condition as well as home goods and shoes. I always look here first for winter gloves and scarves. A few weekends ago I found adorable brand name sandals for $2! And a like new bath mat for $3. Around certain holidays they will have sales on all used items at 50% off. It is well organized and people are friendly.

Prices have gone up alot on certain clothing items over the past several years but there are still some deals to be found if you dig. Like many thrift stores these days they are now obviously looking up certain items on the internet before pricing. So in that regard its definitely not like it used to be. They need to be more careful on marking up knockoffs i.e. North Face, Columbia, and various sports jerseys in particular. The color tag sales can be beneficial but rarely are higher priced items you want on sale. They seem to have a color tag system in place where they routinely and perhaps daily change the colored tags accordingly to avoid nicer items going for half price. These issues aside still a good place with a friendly staff.

Kind of a mess and some clothes were visibly dirty. (Found a band aid stuck to a pair of kids pants!) But also found some great deals on nice, name brand kids clothes - some brand new with tags still attached. $14.50 for 5 shirts and a pair of pants. Not too bad. Some days you find nothing and some days its a gold mine. Hit or miss. But one of the better shops Ive been to on the good days. Staff is pretty nice. My son was having a meltdown at checkout and the cashier offered him her animal crackers. Thought that was awfully sweet.

I would like to know who owns the store and who benefits from it? All of the merchandise are 100 perent donated and some of the prices are too high like the name brand purses. I realize they may cost much more new, but again they are donate and its a thrift store thats supposed to help the less fortunate right? Most of the staff is rude especially the managers. I witnessed a customer change her mind about buying a purse (that hadnt even been purchased yet) and the manager scolded the cashier for it! I think its a thrift store gone wrong.

This place is not a good place to work. The Indian ladies are not nice. The lead Indian employees are very unprofessional and rude to customers and their new hires. They expect you to bust your butt and work like youve been there for a year after your hired a couple weeks. I wouldnt recommend this place not even to a shopper. I prefer the Goodwill over Village Discount stores! Another Con is their prices have gone up a lot since the new district manager came along and wants too over price everything!

I think that the Village Discount Outlet, is very goo for people who do not have lots of money. The clothing and coats are very nice and do not have a lot of damage to them, they also have very good service to those who come and shop there regularly. This store has save me lots of money and I have lots of brand name merchandise that some one has paid lots of money for. Thank you VDO for making me look good for less.

I was somewhat taken aback by the literal floor to ceiling clothing arrangements. This place is seriously packed with clothing and accessories. We were shopping more for household items which they didnt seem to have a lot of so we didnt stay long. The place is a little overwhelming but Im sure there are good deals to be found if you have the patience.

Large selection & variety, however very densely packed, crowded, and dusty. These clothes are donated for free through Am-Vets services, then harvested and sorted through a team of under-paid workers in the backroom. Who then overprice anything name-brand, but prices are still more fair than online. Only go Sunday/Monday for good deals.

This is the place to go in the area for a Goodwill type shopping experience. Second hand deals that are much better than others in the area. They actually have an entire aisle dedicated to electronics! There are multiple aisles of clothes and other things here. I consider this place much better than Goodwill across the street.

This place is a dump . I over heard the boss (old bald guy) tell all the angry workers to do ebay prices . It was pretty decent 10 years ago but now its a dumpy ass ebay store . Plus they have no returns or exchanges . So if you pay the ebay price of a electronic and it fails or dont work , you are screwed . Sh*thole Outlet

Great selections of clothing for all genders and sizes! They also have shoes running between all the racks! Its super fun to hunt for good clothing there. Not much of a housing or toy section and it does get pretty unorganized at times but, the staff is super nice and helpful. Also, no fitting rooms.

Good prices overall clean store. Great bargain days and very good merchandise. Only complaint is some used items dont appear to have been washed before placed on the shelves. Although it is a thrift store that is not appealing. Shop here all the time and recommend to others.

It was fine..the only suggestion that I would do if I was them?and it might take some of there inventory space is for them to make there aisle wider..because two shopping carts wont fit side by side in there aisles..without hitting the clothing..

Best thrift store in all of human history. My wife and i go once a week! Rotating sale tags make a fun game and we always find good work appropriate clothes (banana repub, white house black market, patagonia, etc.)

Great selection most of the time, though I sometimes think they forget that its a THRIFT store. 40$ for a used NorthFace is over the top people. Expect to pay top dollar for good items....kind of a rip off.

This is a great thrift shop. Like all thrift stores you have to spend a little time going through everything & Village is pretty big so theres a lot to go through but that just means theres more good stuff.

Most the staff is nice....not all though. Prices are hit or miss. They look everything up but still marked less than ebay most the time. If you get the right color you just scored. Fun place overall.
