Boston Stoker Coffee Roasters is a charter member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America and has a strong reputation in the specialty coffee world for roasting good coffee. This is a review of this location and the folks at their roastery. This is the first coffee shop I have been to that has a humidor in it! The employee that showed me around the roastery told me that Boston Stoker got started in coffee when they started serving coffee to keep people in the store to smoke more cigars. The baristas were super friendly, cool, down to earth, and served up a good cup of joe. I think Im stating the obvious, but this location has many of the qualities youd find in an excellent specialty coffee shop. Its the humidor and the history of Boston Stoker that makes them stand out among the competitors in the area. Boston Stoker show me such wonderful hospitality in touring their roastery that my heart was knit to their business. The guide tailored the tour to my interests and knowledge, got to know me as a person, and topped it off with a pour over of stellar cup of coffee the team had been enjoying and a bunch of free stickers! Thanks Boston Stokers!!

Place was unkept. Cream and sugar station was messy and not stocked. The coffee was weak (ordered medium roast) and tasted awful. There was a cluster of about 6-7 people crowding the counter obviously employees and friends even sitting on the counter. No one seemed particularly interested in giving me any type of good much less decent service. Very disappointing. Ive had Boston Stoker in the past and this service or product didnt even come close. Ive had Taco Bells coffee earlier this week that was far better than this specialty product I was served today. Sad.

Its one of the better locations for a local coffee chain that maintains a higher standard of quality than national chains. All the other reviews for this location are astroturfing ("they dont burn the beans like that other place".... that other place? why not just say "starbucks?" oh yeah... astroturf) so I figured it was fair to say that this place is good, but its not mindblowingly excellent and you wont weep with joy when pondering your choice to go there. I suppose, its also fair to say that you wont be sad you went, either.

Love the Grogg latte with almond milk. The employees are always helpful and willing to accommodate special requests. We have family in the area that we visit and we always come here while we are in town. They also have some great "coffee" merchandise. Highly recommend!

Amazing coffee! A fun environment to come and hang out and play board games with friends. Unless the owner is there. She has caused my friends and I to drive to other Boston Stokers in the area. Still amazing coffee and a great local place!

Its always just ok. And is no one going to mention the terrible furniture? Its clealry time the replace. Patch jobs with tape and cracks in leather. Would be better if i could wear shorts and be comfortable on the couch.

Not bad. The regular coffee isnt quite strong enough for me but adding an espresso shot helps. I really enjoy the flavor of their coffee, though. Most of the employees are also friendly and helpful.
