I do not recommend this place. The food is mediocre, nothing special, but definitely overpriced. You end up paying 20 bucks for two people, and thats for eggs toast and a meat. Ive been there three times and had slow service every time. The coffee is overpriced and very bland. When i went to pay for my meal last time, they had overcharged me on an item by $2.00, (on an already expensive meal), and they had added a "tax" (where there is no food tax in Ohio).. im assuming it was for included gratuities? and then they still expected you to tip after bad service. Also, they only Latino (or minority for that matter) who was the busboy, was talked down to by the chef and the waitresses, even though he was working harder than all of them. You are better off going to the subway on Bethel rd and getting a breakfast sub- tastes better and you get more food and the people are actually nice!

Small. Personal atmosphere. Quality food. Warm family like staff. All tips are pooled and split. I like the comradery and support this seems to foster among the staff....makes them see the whole room (it is small) as their "station." Ask and get help, not, "Let me get your server for you." Limited menu. That Is good. They know what they do, and do it well! Around for decades. Started as a Jolly Pirate Donut Shop. Changed to private, personally owned. Renamed "HoneyDip Donuts." Then about 6 to 8 years ago added the meal menu..... If you want a personal experience rather than a commercial clone experience, stop in and enjoy.

We go once or twice a month for breakfast or brunch. Lots of gorgeous fresh donuts and good classic diner food. Ive enjoyed omelettes and bacon and eggs, but the corned beef hash is my favorite. Good friendly service. It can get busy, but for a good reason.

Blueberry pancakes made with donut mix (or so Ive been told) are absolutely heavenly! Coffee and donuts are great, nice and fresh. Yeast donuts are soft and light. Hash browns are very good too. Staff is great! And the interior decorating is fun.

Next best thing to Jolly Pirate but a little pricey. Also Ive gone there 3 times and each time the donut I like they have never had more than 2 with none coming out which isnt any help when Im buying a dozen.
