Monday night I researched forged irons, specifically Titleist AP2s and Nike Vapor Pros. Tuesday morning I woke up and decided to go buy a set. I am left handed so shopping for clubs has always been a challenge. So my plan was to go take a few swings with 2 or 3 different brands, decide which I liked the best, and drop $1200-1500 to get a set ordered. I have limited experience with forged clubs, but regardless, I felt like Ive practiced so much in prior years that I should buy a set and learn a new style of golf. Financially smart? I dont know but golf is my biggest hobby and I made the decision to buy a set. I really am not knowledgeable with golf equipment, but I am with the game of golf. The sales associate at the store had a great knowledge of the equipment. However I started taking a few swings and I was hitting the ball off the toe and thin. Swing was off, I wasnt warmed up, was in tennis shoes, never hit blades before, etc... The AP2 felt great. The associate continued to talk and not really give me time to speak. He was not PGA certified but did had some "concerns" with my swing. I wasnt there for that. I was there to buy a set of blades. He talked me completely out of buying anything. He asked my reason for buying them and I didnt really have a good response. My best answer was I just had a gut feeling that hitting blades would improve my game. I guess the associate made one good suggestion. That was to buy a single club online and practice with it. So I went home and ordered a 6 iron left-handed AP2 with the true temper dynamic gold shaft. one. It came in today so I took it out back to hit 10 balls into the lake. First shot hit off the toe and thin. Next 9 shots were the most true impacts Ive ever felt. Highest ball flight Ive ever seen with a 6 iron. Hit the first few straight, cut the next couple, and drew the last couple with ease. Anyways, I am going to order a set now. Someone contact me very soon if you care for me to order through you. If you want to buy the 6 iron I shouldnt have bought let me know. I wanted to spend a lot on one set, not a little on one club.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had their sorry a$$ excuse of a club tech department reshaft my driver with a top of line $280 model. Fourth swing with it (on the driving range) the head went flying off. I had the pro at the local course I was about to play examine the break. He said that it was because they resused the hozzle piece and there was probably too much old adhesive still in the hozzle so they probably only got it partially on the shaft and kept reheating it which would have compromised the shaft. The staff showed no remorse about their poor quality of work, at first the guy laughed at me and told me I broke it. After getting a manager involved they finally agreed to repair for free. I dropped it off on a Monday and was told to come pick it up on Saturday. I showed up on Sunday and they said the shaft hadnt even arrived yet. I called back that Friday and (after 20 mins on hold) they stated the shaft was back ordered and wouldnt be available for a month and a half. I stated that this was not acceptable and I wanted a return, the girl on the phone stated that she couldnt do this without help from a manager. I stated to her that I wouldnt be playing 1/4 of the golf season without a driver because of their carelessness. The staff is a bunch of young people that probably have never broken 80 in their life but walk around with the swagger and cocky arrogance of tour professional. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Most golf course pro shops will offer discounts on clubs, Par Golf Discount (off Sawmill Rd.) does great club repair work and their customer service blows these hacks out of the water.

My boyfriend and I came in looking to purchase a new driver on 7/08. While we were waiting for one of the associates to finish helping a customer who was also testing out a driver we were not greeted. We were not told hed be right with us. He didnt offer to call someone else to help us. My boyfriend told me its okay they usually only have 1 person working that does fittings. So I was patient, well about 45 minutes later he finished up with his customer shook his hand and walked away. Never saying a word to us even though he looked at us and acknowledged we were sitting there. I told my boyfriend maybe hes just using the restroom. Minutes go by so we start looking for him. Finally just go up to the counter where another guy is and asked where he went. The guy proceeded to tell us. Hes not a pro, he doesnt do fittings youll have to come back. The guy couldnt have just took a second away from his first customer to ask us what we needed help with That way we wouldnt have wasted our time and would have just went about our day shopping. But he never said a single word to us. Yet we waited patiently for almost an hour to be told we cant get help today. Mind you we live an hour and a half away. I was planning on buying my boyfriend a 600 dollar driver today but because of the horrible customer service I will purchase else where along with any of his other golf needs.

This place is the most unprofessional group of employees and golf store I have ever seen. I ordered a Taylor made M1 2017 driver, and I paid for 2 day shipping. I ordered the driver 2/25/2017, they told me I would have the driver by Wed a week and a half later. Its now 4/7/2017, I called to check the status and they told me Taylor made hasnt even built the club yet. WOW!!! I told them my head pro at my country club could have gotten it back to me by now and he laughed and said he doubts that he could get the club faster than Golf Galaxy. My club pro could have even gotten me a better price than what I paid them, sorry, sorry customer service. I cant believe they are this terrible and lie to the customers. Next time I will buy from my head pro, hopefully I will have my club by middle of next week, that will be almost 3 weeks for a club I ordered for two day delivery. I will never buy anything from that store again, and will tell everyone I know to stay away from that store.

Although this is not the correct location for this store it has nothing to do with my Review. I was greeted by an associate who was busy with other work so nice intro into the new store it looks great and has a wide selection. I was looking for a 3 wood, the associate in the Taylor made section was rude and did not show any interest, my guess because I was just looking for one club and not a set to be fit to me. After selecting two clubs to try he taped them then said nothing about the clubs except that there was a price difference, after hitting them I selected which one I liked better and he said ok I will get a head cover for you, he left me standing there to remove the tape from my club, then came back and handed me the headcover followed by have a good day. Showed no interest or advice for my game specifically, if I wanted that kind of service I could go to play it again sports and find a year old club. I will not be purchasing from this location again.
