I have used Dominics Computer Repair for all my computer issues, desktop and laptop for 3 years and have had excellent service and very timely service each time. Dominic has a small shop on Cedar rd (no longer on Taylor as some of the searches indicate). He specialiozes in getting malware and viruses off your computer but can also help correct problems of malfunctioning software and hardware. just know that he often will propose replacing an existing operating system which will involve wiping your hard drive. Make sure the backup anything you might risk losing. It is very good to have as local responsive shop with a friendly owner if you have urgent issues. Dominics prices are fair and his work is guaranteed. He will cheerfully work you you if any problem persists.

I needed screws replaced in my Lenovo because they fell out. I couldnt find the screws for a reasonable price (I checked The Lenovo website and Amazon--all I could find were kits for $30). I called Best Buys geek squad and they wanted $29 to start. This place replaced the screws upon walk in for $5 in front of me. The store was organized and neat, which would make me feel comfortable to leave my laptop with them. Also, when I walked into the store the clerk was having a conversation with someone you could tell was speaking to a longtime customer. Bottom line: Im moving the the west side and Im definitely driving the 30 minutes if I have a computer issue again.

My PC stopped working a few weeks ago, and I couldnt figure out why. I know the basic troubleshooting, but after trying everything I knew to do (several times), I was stumped. So based on the good reviews here, I dropped it off at Cleveland Heights PC, and got a call before Id even finished driving home that I had a bad processor. It was a little embarrassing, honestly. Like, for weeks Ive been trying to not even fix it, but just figure out what was broken, and it took him about 20 minutes. Anyway he was right, I replaced the CPU two nights ago and Im using my now working PC to leave this review. Ill definitely be returning if I need more repairs.

Had a problem that wouldnt go away after replacing the power supply, graphics card and motherboard. Dominic figured out the power supply that I received on warranty was broken as well. This is after months of trying to figure it out and taking it to micro center, who thought it was the graphics card and nothing else. Great customer service and very quick ( I got it back the very next day).

I was in despair thinking my hard drive was done for, but I took my laptop to Cleveland Heights PC and not only did they fix it, they did a job Best Buy once charged me $250 and took two weeks to do in four hours and charged more than a hundred dollars less. I would heartily recommend Cleveland Heights PC to anyone who needs a job done. Good, quick, work at reasonable prices.

This guy tried to sell me a battery that didnt charge to 100%. Then said he "wouldnt charge me for the time he spent trying to charge the battery in my computer." Thanks buddy, thanks. He did charge me $10 to clean some gunk off my keyboard with Goo Gone. Didnt mention the cost ahead of the time, just responded, "What you expect me to work for free?" Never going back.

Let me begin by saying that Im a pretty seasoned computer person. When building my latest computer, I had troubles powering it on. So, I took it to Cleveland Heights PC, and viola. The problem was discovered to be a faulty power supply. I replaced the power supply, and Im currently writing this review on my newly built computer. Thanks!

My overworked PC was on the verge of crashing so I tried CHPC and had immediate attention and resolution. The replacement larger hard drive, updated programs and operating systems now work well. Their service was very timely and reasonably priced while offering diagnostic patience and personal attention. It was a good first experience.

This was the first time that Ive entrusted my PC to a repair center and Dominic did a thorough diagnosis and made the repairs on the same day! He was able to save all of the data on my hard drive and got the machine working like a charm. So much more affordable than having to buy a new PC. Thank you!

Accidentally dropped my laptop leading to a shattered screen and an unusable laptop. Not only was the screen changed in less than 24 hours and my laptop returned to me but Dominic was very kind to clean up the cooling fan without charge. Will recommend to a friend without a second thought.
