When I visited this mall for the first time, I noticed an medium rating... that seems about right. Being two levels, its a decent size mall. Unfortunately, I noticed quite a bit of non-leased spaced. In addition, it was not crowded at all for a Saturday evening. I was getting the feeling that this mall is past its prime. With that said, in all fairness, it may just be that the mall is too big for the area. In addition, the mall has implemented a policy that does not allow minors to be in the mall without a chaperone on Fri & Sat nights--which could explain the light crowd. The look of the mall was big, bright, and up to date. The center court and fountain was beautiful. In regard to the store selection, it has what most folks would expect--plenty of mid-class stores and anchors--which is found at 90% of the malls around the country. This mall has no "wow" factor and is not memorable. However, it is a good mall.

Today I had interesting trip to the Tri County mall my daughter age 14 and myself went to the mall I stop to Time Warner take care of an issue and she asked if she could go to a couple stores I said yes and Ill she want I walked to Sears text wilder, 1000 first for Sears after I was done and she informed me that she was forced out of Tri County mall and told that because she was not being escorted by your parents she had to leave walk around the entire mall to the Sears to meet up with me I find this reprehensible of security putting a child at risk by pushing outside the security area without first attempting to take the child and locate the father or contact a father since my daughter had a cell phone could really contact me at any point instead he told her she had to go and no time was my daughter accused of doing a misconduct gotta love the Tri County mall

This mall is going to shut down soon. The way they treated me today they will no longer be receiving my services. I was shopping today with my younger sister for a dress for my 21st birthday. With the new age policy i couldnt do so. I got in the mall just fine, walked to Macys no questions asked when i went to leave macys we got stopped showed the lady my ID and she then told us we couldnt leave this way through the mall since i wasnt 21 yet. I then had to walk outside in the rain all the way around the mall to get to my car. When i was 16 i used to shop at the mall all the time. These rent a cop mall marines are no one to judge other people. They make less then i do an hour and are nobody. This mall is the worst mall to go for a shopping day with your sister or anyone do not go here!!!

The shops are you basic grouping found in every mall and the only Sun Coast Ive seen in a while. My problem is the security guards stopped my friend and I asking to see our I.D.s. She is 23 and I am 25. They looked at the cards then told us we had to wear these paper bands on our hands because she "looked kinda young". There were plenty of kids running around the mall, but we seem to be the only ones that had to wear the bands. I have social anxiety disorder and it made me feel even more marked out and like there was something wrong with me. Basically after being branded we just went home. What a weird thing to do to two adult paying customers.

What was once a popular and bright mall full of stores is slowly becoming empty and depressing. Every time I come here, there seem to be more stores that have closed or are in the process of closing. The mall staples that leave are eventually replaced by small, independent shops with low quality goods and knock-offs. Supposedly the owners made an announcement recently, that they have plans to bring the mall back to its former glory. Im not seeing it at all. Clearly, they have no idea what theyre doing. You cannot have a mall with only mom and pop stores and expect it to survive. I do not expect Tri-County to pull through this.

Mall coming back?? American Eagle is now closed. Good job Tri County! Run the money making staple mall stores out by setting them up with gaudy discount foreign operated neighbors. This mall is dead already regardless of what people say. Sometimes, its the caliber of the stores that attract buyers and not the cheap merchandise. Hollister will soon follow A&E out of Tri County as they also have a location right up the road at Liberty Center. If youre in the market for cheap knock-off products that are more than likely illegal for sale, then Tri County is your mall.

The mall itself is kept clean. There are a couple of storefronts with no inside access (you need to exit to get to them). The anchors are OK, but the Sears is empty and in the worst shape. The BJs Brewhouse is good stuff. The food court is there, nothing special (a few asian food places, a subway, etc.) And it is pretty empty. The mall does not seem overrun with teenagers or anything like that. The parking is a little close together, but there are plenty of spots as well as a parking garage. I would argue this is your average mall.

Sadly this mall isnt what it use to be. Its very uncomfortable to see all of the security walking around so fiercely but some how failed to noticed a women coming into the mall with a dog on a leash. It was clear the women was no blind or needed the dog for any type of ad. There hardly isnt any good stores opened her anymore. I grow tired of going to the food court trying to dodge the Chinese restaurant cooks yelling for me to try a sample of food. Mall is cleaned very nicely though.

I had a horrible experience. I was followed around Rue21. It was a white stud with blue eyes. I know this bc we made eye contact when I turned around. She was looking at me through some shirt racks. I was highly upset. Everything I was going to buy, I gladly put it down and walked out of the store. Their customer service sucks. Instead of asking if I needed help finding anything on their store, they followed me around. I will never shop at this mall again.

Sales rep at Suncoast talked us into signing up for F.Y.E neglected to tell me we would be charged... Turned around after my husband found out and canceled the transaction. rep assured me it hadnt been sent in to be activated and handed me back my information and application... he sent it in anyway. Has taken 3 calls to FYE to get it canceled... still waiting on my money back for charges without my consent. Sleezy sale reps. Do not shop here.

Seems like a ghost town most of the time. That can be good if youre looking for something specific, but really it just means a lot of stores are packing up and leaving. That, or the stores that are still there have lower quality than their counterparts at other local malls like Kenwood. Still a couple good reasons to visit, like BJs Brewhouse and the music instrument store (if thats still even open), but the cons really outweigh the pros.
