Nice, mellow atmosphere. My macchiato was pretty well done, although the cleanliness of the place (including the dishes) was a little bit off. It is a large place with plenty of places to sit, which makes sense since lot of people seem to go there to eat. We only stopped by for food. The menu was simple with no big surprises, but featured your normal coffee staples. I think Ill be back to try out more drinks. You can also buy bulk coffee by weighing it yourself and even grinding it right there. I think its a good idea to give people a chance to try a few smaller bags of their own preference, rather than having to get 12oz of one kind. I would, however, question the freshness a little - the bulk coffee seemed to be in large plastic containers and unless customers are careful, the coffee could get stale pretty quickly.

Well the food is over priced and the coffee isnt that great. Its only appeal is the fact that it is local. Some of the employees are nice. I have noticed and I am a regular, that the staff is all white. This wasnt apparent to me until just recently. I had applied and even talked to the manager (red haired white dude) and he said he will look at my application and call me for sure. I walked in a couple days later and to my surprise he was training another girl. Normally this wouldnt bother me, but it was then that I noticed that she was white and so is everyone who works in this coffee shop. Least to say that was the last time I will come in. I was disgusted with the subtle rasicm I felt indirectly against me. I much rather pay 5 dollars for diversity at starbucks.

The staff and food here are great, but the espresso and coffee is surprisingly average and unmemorable. Those posting about how incredibly amazing the coffee here is are, I suspect, not well experienced in what truly GREAT coffee tastes like. Any place that offers a "large" cappuccino is likely not prioritizing quality as much as they should. The drinks here are fine, but their reputation led me to expect a better investment in their espresso. The food is a bit overpriced, and the acoustics bouncing off the concrete ceiling can be too overstimulating when its crowded. This would be an A+, 5-star place if they upped their espresso game. As it stands, this place is a solid B-

Highly recommend. Fun place to work on a Sunday. Crowded, but in a good way. Tasty sandwiches, tasty coffee, plenty of seating even though it was packed. Huge tea selection, and the pastries looked good. Not too loud, it felt like a "bustling" cafe. Lots of locals (hipsters lol) from the OTR area. Must be the place to go for coffee downtown over the weekend. Street parking only. Free wifi but it was slow and spotty when I was there (Sunday and lots of people on laptops). I opted to use my phone data instead after getting dropped multiple times. Overall a great coffee shop and way better than yet another corporate-feeling Starbucks. Id go back. Enjoy!

Something old, renewed. I wanted to try something new in Cincy and The Highlands doesnt open til 5 and Sitwells had terrible reviews. After walking in, I realized I had been here already but that they had.expanded to occupy the entire downstairs. Its better than before! The atmosphere was fun with small groups meeting, students studying, a film crew making a documentary, and business people walking in and out. The coffee was solid and the food smelled great. Everyone working there was friendly (even to the crazy homeless guy that wanted to show the baristas pieces of paper he found). They also have a customer bathroom which is nice.

Such a cool cafe! Its one of the largest ones that Ive found in Cincinnati, but they do it well - It doesnt have that "cozy, curl up with a book" type atmosphere for a coffee shop, but its great to sit down, spread out your papers and laptop, and feel like you have a nice desk space. Although I wish they would achieve this feel while maintaining more atmosphere as it has a cafeteria feel to it. If you buy a coffee you get bottomless refills which is always a bonus (Although may have to make a few trips to the bathroom!). Ive come back multiple times.

The best coffee and worst WiFi in Cincinnati. Go expecting to work offline, or simply be frustrated with constant disconnections. Overall, it has a relaxed energy thanks to the terrific coffee, friendly help and lively crowd. A varied daily brew plus a mix of couches, padded chairs, bar stools and table seating will fit any mood youre in. The cold brew coffee is excellent and the scones are like pastry crack - youll want another before youve finished the first. Tip: Avoid 3-5 PM if you want quiet; it gets crowded with students.

From the other reviews you might already know the Coffee is great. Sooooo, if you want the best hands down Brownie in Cincinnati then this is the place to go. It is rich while not being dry. What I cant figure out is that as a Vegan product how does it taste this good? Really is that good. The portion is big enough that I get one and split it with my wife. The staff is great and extremely thoughtful, sad to say too rare in todays business. Enjoy!

Quaint coffee lounge with eclectic garage sale furniture, concrete floors, but warm colors, soft-glow lighting. Nice coffee and food selection for reasonable prices. Some gluten-free options. My wife really enjoyed the gluten free pumpkin muffin (pictured). Free Wi-Fi. Also enjoyed the gentle swaying melancholic indipop music and the subdued millennial generation crowd who were interacting with both their devices and the actual people around them.

A Private User

Real people serving and drinking real coffee in a real, comfortable space. Streetside tables in summer. Real baked sweets, some from Shadeau Bakery, a local gem, just around the corner on Main in Over-the-Rhine. Fresh sandwiches on real bread. The location, in the basement of the old Cincinnati Technical College, is reminiscent of your old college hangs and all the cool coffeehouses Starbucks drove out of business. Do I sound bitter?

Home away from home. Mobile office for work or social gatherings. Great place to chill and people watch, catch up with friends, a bite to eat, or simply get caffeinated! All of their pastries, salads, beverages, and food are Delicious as well as Local. The staff is always warm personable and inviting. People you can get to know by name and vise versa. I love that they give all of their food waste to local farmers for composting.

Stopped here with my husband on our drive back to Cleveland from our honeymoon. We loved this place!! The coffee was delicious and atmosphere was cool too. I loved all of the artistic touches! If I lived in the area I would definitely come here often. If youre looking for a cool, hip atmosphere and delicious coffee, this is your place!! (I didnt try one but the chocolate chip cookies looked really good! Ill post a pic!)

Line was long, wich is a sign of a great coffee shop. Im giving the 2 stars because of a man that works there who seems to have a way of talking down to people and a slight pompous demeanor. The latte I recived was not hot, was bitter, I gave it 2 stars because the pastries looked beautiful and the 2 women who cashed us out were very friendly. Whoever the older man is should not talk to the public.
