I will agree with many other reviews I read on other sites....this place has a huge selection and variety of craft supplies! BUT it is extremely unorganized, cluttered, dusty and old inside. If you have allergies or breathing problems I wouldnt step inside! I had to move around several boxes of items to get to the bottom of a big pile in order to find an item I was looking for. It was a bit overwhelming and many things I wanted to look at or think about purchasing I didnt because I couldnt get to the items to even see them without having to un-bury them. I will say it could definitely be fun (with lots of time) just looking around at all the potential things you might unearth! They need to have a sale and clear out a bunch of all the old junk in there! The girls running the shop were very friendly and nice but a bit unprofessional...several times while I was there I would hear one of them squeal, laugh or yell loudly while standing and talking at the counter. Never once did anyone walk through the store to offer help or assistance. I will probably only come back if there is something I cant find at the other craft stores....the prices were rather high for some of their old and dusty items.

Whenever I go to this place I have to remind myself to have at least one hour unless I know exactly what Im going for. I like to do an adventure hunt in the yarn section because I never know what Ill find there. Its been a joy to me to have learned about this wonderful store. Its a little place with a lot of things to see and marvel over. As many times as Ive been there I couldnt even begin to tell just what all they have inside those walls. One time I took a shirt there to match it up with some yarn and found the color I needed. If youre a crafter person just go and immerse yourself inside and see what you will come out with.

I agree with other posts that the store is over crowded and very hard to find things. But they do have a huge selection of craft items. I enjoy going there to browse and see what all they have. Every time I go there I find something new. One thing I was disappointed about was that they have no scrapbook stuff. As far as the customer service.... They are very friendly.... But yes... Unprofessional. That did not detour me from the store though. I live out of town and will always stop there to just check it out when in town.

This place gets one star because they were able to identify my yarn. Overall I would give zero stars because the owner was horribly rude. She said the yarn I was looking for was "garbage I dont carry on my shelves". Even if she thinks the yarn I want isnt "high quality", you dont say these things to customers! I went elsewhere and will never go back.

Five stars may be a bit high, but this is half just to balance out Mrs Garbageyarns whiny rant. I have always found the selection at Busy Beavers to be esoteric and eclectic. Maybe they wont have the mass market junk that you are looking for, but they will likely have a better option for you.

This place is great they have exactly what I needed when I needed it. Was at many other high name commercial hobby stores that didnt have what I was looking for. The knowledge and experience of the staff is prestigious I Id give 10 stars if I could.

This store has so many different types of crafts you could get lost which is awesome! It would be better if it was more organized and easier to reach things.
