This location is huge and offers a large selection of crafting supplies in any genre. Browsing the fabrics is a lot of fun, and they have a huge variety. They always have coupons online of great value, and run frequent sales, so I would take advantage. They also feature a separate sewing machine retail center with personal associates that were very helpful to work with. In fact, every employee Ive encountered here is extremely bright and friendly, and their standards seem high. That being said, they have a real problem keeping up during peak hours. An associate has told me theyre understaffed and it shows. The cutting counter has been backed up for upwards of 25 minutes, and Ive stood in the checkout line for 15+ minutes on more than one occasion. If youre there on the off hours youll have a great experience, but dont show up here in a hurry.

I would not recommend ordering online from JoAnn Fabrics. They have had an order of mine (of which they cancelled part of) for 1 week. When I called to cancel it was still in processing. The rep checked when I stated I wanted to cancel and after another 5 minutes on hold he stated the order has moved to shipping and will ship out either today or tomorrow. I told him I would like to cancel, he stated that because it was in shipping it could not be cancelled. So I will return items to a store when I receive them and provide Michaels or Hobby Lobby with my future business.

I just bought some fabric for a doll and a couple fake spiders for a prank. They were very helpful and nice, making good chit-chat about hobbies and such at the counter. Everything is on sale right now and its a nice surprise to be paying $18 for items that would usually cost me $35. My only con for the place is that its isles arent very well labeled and I couldnt find any premade doll bows. However, Im able to make my own, so its not a huge loss. It was an overall nice trip.

The customer service at Joanns is very poor. The other day the cashier did not put 8 of the items I purchased in my bag. When I got home and noticed that more than half of the items were not in the bag, I called to see if there is anything they could do because I do not live close to the location and the manager did not even apologize for my inconvience. Safe to say they do NOT care about customers satisfaction at their store and are very rude.

They reorganized their store so that large sections of it are grouped by brand instead of function. This is not very useful for a store that is largely focused on delivering goods with a utility function. When I want a tool for fabric or a craft of a particular type I dont want to have to look through the 8 brands that might have the tool to find the three brands that actually do in order to find the one I want to buy.

I havr NEVER been treated so rudely in my life. I waited over an hour to get fabric cut and the lady behind the desk was talking inappropriately about me to other customers. When it was my turn she decided it was break time. The other lady decided to look busy and not help me while rolling her eyes. I will NEVER go back and I will be filling a formal complaint with corporate as well.

The many of the employees have major attitude problems (especially the dark haired manager at the service desk). The lines take F-O-R-E-V-E-R if its not an off time of day whether you are getting fabric cut or checking out. They dont call for more cashiers until the line of customers is working its way through the framing dept. Very frustrating.

The wait to get fabric cut is horrible, the only thing worse was the wait in line omg 2 cashiers 12 ppl in line. I have shopped at Jo-Ann Fabrics for 40 years and no more. A lot of the merchandise doesnt have prices on it. I dont want to spend my time trying to hunt for help to get pricing and fabric cut then wait in line for hours.

The girl at the cutting counter was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure the fabric that I purchased was good fabric after she saw that some of it had been marked up. I have never had a bad experience at a JoAnns store and I still havent been let down.

Its a nice store. Not as large as the one I usually visit, so selection is less, but workers are friendly and store is clean. I do avoid bathrooms just because of the water crisis in Flint.
