a choice of several places that offer discounts on purchases. She signed us up for the Home Depot 10% off all purchases up to $200/off. I figured that it would be a good time to purchase a new snow blower and riding lawn mower. I purchased these items and paid the extra $70 for delivery. The items delivered and my wife signed for the receipt of the property. When I arrived home I could see that something had fallen on the hood of the mower and dented, scratched, and deformed the hood to the point that it would not sit properly. One of the headlights was also coming off due to the mishapen metal hood. I telephoned this Home Depot Store 3835, and after several attempts to connect me with customer service, the lady connected me directly to a manager, Laura. I explained the situation to Laura that my wife signed for the items and the mower was damaged. To my utter amazement, Laura proceeded to tell me that once an item is signed for then basically we own it. I explained that my wife did not know how to properly inspect the items. (I handle all of the yard work) Well, after Laura getting thoroughly upset and loud with me I told her that I wanted all items picked up and I just wanted to return all items. She then proceeded to tell me that she would not refund the delivery charge of $70 and I would have to pay another $70 for the items to be returned. I was taken back by her complete lack of cordiality and lack of care for her customers, and she was a manager. She eventually accepted the return and did issue credit. The store manager, Ron Salazar, did call me and offer his apologies, which was nice. When I went to work and spoke of my experience one of my coworkers in the office said he too had an issue with Laura being rude and crude with him, but just like my situation, she eventually gave in and made things right. Well, Laura, I will not be back to your store anymore and I sincerely hope that you treat others with a kinder approach and are more caring of their needs and concerns.

This store is convenient to where I live, but it is constantly out of stock of what you need. Even though they perpetually have their movable stairs in just about every major aisle blocking access during their busy times, its hard to imagine how they could always be out, but they are. I overheard another customer complaining about the same thing to an employee several weeks ago in electrical and the employee told her to have a nice "word-that-begins-with-f" day. From other reviews, this rudeness seems to be common behavior of employees at this store. Lowes is 2 minutes away and a much better shopping experience. Dont waste your time at this Avon Home Depot

Was just at the Avon Ohio store. Tried to use a $100 gift card and put remaining $36 on debit. Lady at check out clearly understood what I wanted but since my gift card was not scratched on the back decided to just put all $136 on the debt card and then told me she could not reverse the charges and to go to customer service With no apology I went to customer service. Got refund back on my debit card only to be told that it could take a week for the charges to be returned back to my card. I will not be returning to this store and will use lowes as much as I can from now on. #onelesscustomer Tim

Sales staff at the Avon Home Depot are always very helpful. Have found everything I was looking for there. Like that if an item is not in stock at the store, you can order it online and have it shipped to the store for free.

Black guy watched me struggle getting bag of cement , walked buy and said " broken bag that sucks" then went into his lounge area. Shop and big lots before I go there ever! Lowes is muck better then this place ! Never again!
