Your basic Giant Eagle grocery store. Could use more organic and healthy options. I know its not a Market District store but this location USED TO have one of the largest (and very organized) organic food departments in the area. They did a remodel a couple of years back and removed all those items from one common area and spread them out in the various isles throughout the store. Also in the process dont carry some (removed/dont sell) of the items I used to shop for at this location. For the wine folks youll be happy to know the section of the store that once housed all the healthier items is now fully stocked with a reasonably large selection of wines an other beverages. (not happy a happy experience for me) I dont shop here as much as I used to. I have to drive further and visit either the Giant Eagle Market District store towards Canton or Cuyahoga Falls. OR SKIP Giant Eagle completely and shop at the Mustard Seed in West Akron or Fairlawn.

So the new policy is that people who have less than 3 items cant use the Customer Service desk,as before.Brilliant!!!...Instead of checking out at an area that basically does nothing, Ill go to the self-checkout with my case of beer and bother an employee to key in the code to certify I am over 21.Yay...more work for the employees.Good job Giant Eagle.Your policies are so intelligent...Or maybe the employee who was working Customer Service just doesnt want to work...Maybe Ill just spend my money at Wal-Mart and not deal with this nonsense.

very nice clean store.. but you have to watch the prices. Aldies and Save a lot are half the cost a lot of the time. Giant Eagle is good at getting specialty items in and vegetables that other stores dont carry. The auto checkout lines are a pain as they often have to override something. I purchased seasoned salmon their last week hoping theyd have better quality meats there.. was not good.

I like this Giant Eagle well enough and have memories of coming here as a kid, as wierd as that sounds. Store is good for sales and coupon deals. Majority of the cashiers are friendly, efficient and professional. My only complaint is a lack of fresh fruit items for the kids treat card (FKA cookie cards).

I dont have a lot of time, so I shop for all my needs here. Could save money if I chose to shop at several locations for certain items....No time. One pet peeve is check out takes forever.

The bakery department is the best. If you want a reveal cake or cupcakes that is the place to go. Ours were pretty, with the blue and pink icing on top and the pink inside each cupcake.

I like to buy my meat here, it is good quality and always tastes good. The employees are friendly and very helpful. Its a nice store and always very clean. The pharmacy is the best!!
