Disappointing that we bought a Groupon deal for this store today and drove all the way out there only to find that they could not honor it due to problems with their internet. They also have no restroom for customers to use (is that legal??). For the third strike, my daughter wanted a frozen coffee drink, but their machine was out of order. The doughnuts are good (theyre Krispy Kreme, after all); the selection wasnt the best Ive seen (waaaaay too many tiramisu doughnuts, and not much of anything else); but the staff was nice enough.

Seems like i always get behind the person ordering an ungodly amount of donuts....happend today....guy asked for 10 dozen and the ladies face behind the counter face dropped and she just started moving so slow.....i like donuts but not enough to watch the employee mope around getting together 60 donuts so i just walked out....donuts are usually on point but they could use a little more variety but hey its a krispy kreme in akron wgat do you expect

Sitting at Krispy Kreme...And I am disgusted ! I thought I would try their new Frozen Very Berry drinks..And they taste awful in my opinion..At first sip they taste dreamy ..Then the after taste is disgusting..And then one of the workers were spraying one of the machines and the water splashed the donuts..And little do people know but their filling tubes are not covered and today flies were just a flying.....

Nice local donut shop for Krispy Kremes company, they do everything right, havent had any complaints, I can always shoot the breeze with the staff and have friendly talks every time I go there. The quantities of donuts available are a struggle half the time because of the size of the front counter space and also due to the companys popularity, but other than that, solid place to grab a dessert/treat.

Very historic business and location. Its the only KK thats still in its original location, and I think only the 2nd one in business. This place always has fresh donuts, and of course when the "HOT" sign is illuminated, you can always run inside and grab a free hot donut!

The review needs to be explained: 1) 5 stars if u get the donuts in the morning when they are hot and fresh. 2) 3 stars if u wait till the evening when theyre serving not very fresh tasting donuts that can be matched by Krispy Kremes found at a gas station.

great staff and clean. always makes the best donuts and if you have the app. it lets you know about specialty donuts and when the hotlight is on as well as gives points for discounts. dont forget to go inside to get your free hot glazed when the light is on!

I just went there for first time about a month ago . free hot glazed .raspberry glazed .its clean the staff is friendly .ive been there about 5 times in past month. Ive lived akron most my life and its a treat to go to a place ive overlooked . its a treasure

The Maple street Akron store is THE best. They give you a fresh hot donut off the line and are friendly. My kid loves to go over there and watch them get made. A real piece of charm and history here in Akron.

Excellent variety and creative flavors of delicious doughnuts! Very nostalgic location, and fun to watch the doughnuts being made. The smell of fresh baked doughnuts is amazing, and the taste is even better!

I dont know if its me or the donut thats changed, but 3 years ago I LOVED the cream filled and now they put my teeth on edge. But I could live off the glazed, especially fresh off the belt.

Great Akron icon. When the "hot donut" light is on the kids want to stop for their sample. The donuts are light and airy. Delicious. This place rivals Swensons as an iconic location.
