My daughter lived in Wilmington for about 3 years and being the daughter of a sewer she scouted out this location for fabrics. I love the selection, the quality of fabrics and the friendly knowledgeable staff @ FABRIC SOLUTIONS and wish there was a location in 200 miles of my home state West Virginia. I only get to go now when we meet there every year or so @ Wrightsville Beach to walk, eat and shop. I will be there in January or February 08 and cannot wait to see what new fabrics and ideas they have. I definitely recommend this for the novice seamtress or the "old school sewer like me". It is a good place to get quilting fabric to because of the price.

I have sewn before, but never curtains. I found a WONDERFUL selection here, BUT the associates were somewhat rude. They act as if they theyre inconvenienced when helping you. All around good place, but go in and know exactly what you want and looking for if you dont want them to talk down to you.

I have always found the employees helpful, while not overly stalky as I browse, do not understand the comments about rude employees, and the fabric and prices are GREAT! Good place to go to get your creative juices flowing.

I just had an associate to cut me off and hang up on me when I called. Not even, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" - just a CLICK. The fabric selection may be nice, but I cant say the same for the employees.
