Carl was very helpful! I went in looking for some foam padding for a set of dining room chairs that I am refurbishing. He made a recommendation for which product would work best. He also suggested placing an order for one large piece of foam rather than buying four of the small pieces that they had on hand; this cut the price almost in half! They did not charge any extra for the special order, though it did require waiting a week until they got their regular shipment in. I wasnt in a rush and I was happy to save some money. I also had to call back to change the order size as I had miscalculated. It wasnt a problem at all. Big thanks for fantastic customer service!

I went looking for this store yesterday but it seems that it closed in 2007. There is an upholstery store at 30 Anderson Ave called The Recovery Center. According to the Democrat & Chronicle, "The Recovery Center is a new business offering custom upholstery services, fabric and supplies."

Fabrics and Findings is back! No longer located in the giant warehouse. It is now located right next door. You will see the old sign, they are in fact open focusing mainly on furniture upholstery and drapes. They have the best Scrap Fabric for a dollar, and many great odds and ends.
