Oh my goodness. This place is heaven! You walk in the doors to a wide array of spices for cooking and seasoning. Everything is clearly labeled with ingredients and usage suggestions. Behind those are several kinds of flavored cooking oils. They have premade sizes, or you can pour a large container if you need. On the side wall are salts. I bought an amazing truffle salt. I used to get the dean and deluca salt, but this one is so much better. On the back wall are my favorites. Teas. Roobias, Fruit Teas, Black tea, white tea, green tea... so many to choose from! You can open the containers and sniff to your hearts content! They have them prepackaged into ounces, and the staff will make you a cup so you can try them out. (I think it was approximately 3.50 or so for a cup). This was perfect, as we were on vacation and didnt have tea brewing items on hand. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I think the first guy we met was Matt? He told us about maté tea, and the beautiful and highly caffeinated climbers maté that they sell. He was able to share knowledge on the maté gourds and straws, and other info! I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is a fan of tea! We are planning a trip back to Wilmington so we can go here again!

So I everyorning I would take a caffeine pill to get started and wanted to kick the habit and take a more natural route to get my caffeine, so I decided to get some teas. I went to some place near CfcC and was recommended to spice merchants if I wanted a better experience and teas. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! This place is awesome and has so many teas to try, along with spices and other ingredients that are hard to come by which makes it a dream if you like to cook as much as I do! Also the staff is so nice and beyond helpful and helped me pick out some perfect teas for me that taste so good I dont add anything to them! (The Orange Creamsicle and Climbers high mate are amazing, I would highly recommend them). If you like tea or cooking with new spices, dont miss out on this place!

I usually get the tea, which they have a wonderful selection of. You can smell the loose tea before purchasing it. They will also make you a cup for $2 (I think) if you would like to sample it. They have an abundance of spices and you can try their oils as well. They staff are great and the location is perfect. Parking can be a pain but its worth it. Especially if you are going to stop in a few other places downtown. This should be on your must see list!

Perfectly articulated, enjoyable, and clean, tea and spice shop; great location, friendly knowledgeable staff. Not only can you purchase goods, oils, salt blocks, tools...you can get a highly inexpensive, full flavor tea to go!!! For someone quitting coffee due to too frequent headaches, Ive found my new go-to!! <3

I love, love, love this place! They do such a great job here, the employees are friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in, the selection is amazing. We visit every time we find ourselves downtown, even if Im not going for something specific I always end up taking something new home.

If you like coffee and tea, then you must stop here. I drive all the way to Willmington just to get beans and tea. If you are new to the realm of coffee and tea drinking, then the employees will assist you and point you in the right direction. This place is a must see.

Helpful and kind staff, knowledgeable and not pushy. Good prices, 1oz pickling spices $3.89; 1 oz black sea salt $3.29. Tons of teas, coffee, spices, and all the accompanying materials to go with it (cups, tea balls, mortar & pestle, etc.)

This is such a unique place. We purchased habaneros salt, Himalayan pink salt and whole white pepper. Love it all and will purchase more online (because I live out of town). Staff was friendly and very helpful!
