I cant believe this place has a more than one star rating honestly. Its like the customers are having family reunions in the aisles. The customer service looks at you like youve stole whatever merchandise you are returning, even with a valid receipt or they look like they get pissed off if they actually have to do something. The pharmacy isnt any better either. Ive had to argue with them a few times. Thank goodness Im in the medical field cause they cant b.s. me. I just feel sorry for the other people that dont know any better, especially elderly people. When you go to check out, Ive actually turned around to pay and found people standing in front of the place you pay. They start stuttering when Ive now started asking them if they are going to pay for me, lol. I now try to go to Ingles every chance I get or another walmart.

Aweful customer service. I went to buy some beer, with a perfectly valid drivers license. Now, while my ID is cracked and does have tape on it, it has several points of reference to verify that it is valid: a duplicate photo on both halves, a very distinguishable signature in half, and several words that are PERFECTLY ALLIGNED, not to mention a completely asymmetrical crack. There is not a snowballs chance in hell of that ID being invalid. NC courts, DMV, banks, police officers, air ports, and several different ABC stores across multiple states, and bars and clubs... in the five years this ID has been cracked, I have had not one single occurence of an issue. They refused to sell to me. "Its a store policy" is utter bullsh*t. Theres just no excuse for that kind of imcompetance.

Any WM Superstore is a huge operation and there are fewer staff per square foot then in smaller stores, but surely this is part of keeping prices down, and at that they are generally successful. In looking over reviews from other WM stores there are always several one-star rants where nothing pleases the writer. Ive been to several WM SS and none is that bad. This one, in Waynesville, is my home store and I shop there frequently and am generally satisfied, particularly when the convenience of the huge selection and the generally, but not always, low prices are considered. So I give it 4 stars. Be advised, there are people who hate WM due to political considerations and will poison the well without compunction or restraint aero1

While traveling from Ohio,lost my contact case,went to Waynesville NC location. Was told they could give me a set of trail ones...called my Walmart, got my prescription ...... only to tell me we cant without a eye exam....well when you order contacts they give you a pair to try to be sure you can wear them.... Just a bold face lie...so just bought glasses....we use to like this Walmart ....done with it now....travel here to Maggie Valley 3 to 4 times a year.....will drive the extra distance to NOT deal with this location.

I think this is absolutely one of the busiest Walmarts I have ever been to. I do believe that when people are vacationing around that area that this is their go-to spot. They do pretty much try to keep the place stocked. They have ran out of ice cream for two or three weeks that the shelves were bare. The only reason I gave this establishment a 4 stars instead of 5 is because I hate getting ran over and bumped into by all the automatic carts that everyone drives there

This is the nicest Walmart Ive ever been in and Ive been in a lot of Walmart stores in different countries and across America. Its soooo clean and the employees are wonderful. I was visiting and my good watch broke so Judy helped me pick out a Time until I can get my good one repaired. My husband and I have both lost our phones here on two separate occasions (loooong story) and both times they were returned to customer service by helpful employees.

The service in the deli today was terrible. There were 3 people working behind the counter but only 1 was actually helping people and he was not confident in what he was doing. It took over 20 minutes to be served and others gave up and walked away. The part that pissed me off most was that the one guy that ignored the line waited until everyone was served then came up and asked if he could help anyone. NOBODY WAS LEFT TO BE SERVED!

Can find almost everything I need here but... I usually shop late at night when they stock. If you shop during the day, good luck finding what you want in stock. Very hard to find help!!! Ample parking, can pay bills, wire money, layaway, Subway, Redbox, hair salon, Vision center, FedEx(if you dare). Self-check out. Cashier lines can be few with long wait. Return is easy, no big ordeal like Kmart.

Their pharmacy is not 24 hrs and the pharmacy only price matches with other large chain stores like K Mart or CVS etc they refused to match with smaller one store pharmacys like Kel- Save who have better prices & much better service usually 5 to10 minutes for one to a few Rx s wal mart TV ads dont mention these conditions or limitations sounds like price fixing to me.

I like the store... its convenient...mostly good prices. ..I live near by...BUT. To get in the door you walk thru disgusting trash and 1000s of cigarette butts and people smoking ..employees should at least park...out back...Id love to see no smoking in front of the store at all...have a smoking area..maybe. raining today and walking thru soggy butts....Gross

This store has by far the worst customer service EVER!!!! The store manager JERRY and manager COREY should be flipping burgers at mcdonalds that way they have to deal with the public. They would much rather store product in their backroom than to sell to the public. I will not be returning to this store and may never shop walmart again

I drive to this WalMart although there is one in the town where I live. This Supercenter is always well-stocked, offers a wide variety of items, and is staffed by friendly, courteous people. I am especially impressed with the variety in the grocery area and the freshness of the produce.

Horrible entrance and exit to the parking lot, and parking lot makes no logical sense. The aisles are way too narrow. Sometimes you cant pass another cart so you have to turn around and go the other way just to get through the aisle. Its the smallest Super Walmart Ive ever seen.

At this Walmart Supercenter you can find almost anything you need. They have a good selection of groceries but it can be a little more expensive if you are buying a lot of groceries. Good selection of paper products, cleaners, and laundry detergent at reasonable prices.

Aside from a clearly disinterested staff, the customers that frequent this location are pushy and rude. After a particularly ridiculous run around trying to do a simple exchange for a faulty Fit bit, I no longer patronize this Wal-Mart location nor any other.

Normally I dont shop or go into Wal-Mart but when I had to I was thoroughly impress with the staff here. They are always cheerful and pleasant and seem to care about their jobs and Customer care! Thank you Wal-Mart maybe Ill start shopping here after all.
