Best little supermarket there is. When we moved to Tryon and saw the IGA superette I wondered where we would be buying groceries, as there is no large supermarket in town. We were so surprised when we found out we didnt need to go anywhere else. I love this store. Yes it is small, but I rarely have not found what I needed there. The friendly owner Willard has tucked gourmet and other items in every nook, but sometimes you just have to ask where to find it. Good choice of produce, beer and wine, in-house butcher, homemade items from the deli and 10% senior discount every Wed. If he doesnt have it, Willard will order it. What more could you need?

Its local, its convenient, its a small store with a friendly staff. This store has good sales & specials each week. Its great for when you need to run in and get something quick. Theyre like a big chain store so you will likely be able to find what you want. They do sell items that are more gourmet minded and their prices can be on the steep side but overall its a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

Not your average IGA,, the owner manager has a very good mix of groceries that you will not find in another store of this smaller size. Makes it easy to shop, and get in and out quickly, unlike the bigger stores. Higly recommend!

IGA in Tryon, NC is fantastic! Not only are the employees wonderful, but the prices are great. Their Filet Mignon is so delicious, and the price is amazing. Love, love, love this place:)
