I was here Friday August 12th 2016 . Ive been coming to this Publix for 5 years . But now Ill only come in If Windix* down the street is out of something I want. Why you ask? Well Ill tell you why . Let me start off by saying Im a caregiver and part of being a caregiver is going to the grocery store with or for the person Im caring for which is no big deal This is Sun City Center Florida and is the norm. Well I care for a 92 year old man who is usually with me when I shop , he was just having an off day and decided to listen to 40s sit and relax in the car while I picked up his meds and shopped for the week. My cashier whos name I cant remember all I remember was her long blonde braid and emerald green eye shadow my bagger was a manager . Let me tell you what she did she rings me up I sign hands me the receipt and asked to see the credit card , I oblige Ive been here plenty of times and know many of the cashiers ... She reads the name William and gives me the biggest eye roll Ive ever seen before and looks at her manager . I tell her no Im not William first off Im a female. She made such a nasty scene I was so embarrassed her manager told her its normal to see someone else use a credit card but for next time They need a written letter with our I.ds on it. As soon as I walked to the car I told Bill what happened and got that done. I also told the manager her cashier handled it wrong.. The manager said shed talk to her and agreed she handled it the wrong way .. She seemed to be agrreing with me just to shut me up.

I was in the store tonight and a gentleman named David bagged my groceries. Well, Im pregnant and he, without me having to ask, got me a cart (I got a little more than anticipated and my basket was FULL) and insisted on taking my stuff out to my car for me. We ended up spending a while in the parking lot talking and he was just the nicest man ever! He shared memories of when his wife was pregnant with their twins and how they were new parents with 3 kids in diapers at the same time! :)) In a world where there is so much negativity I just wanted to share how nice it was to meet such a genuinely great man who had such an amazing story and had lived such an interesting life! You never know who youll meet if you just take a second to talk to someone instead of rushing all the time:)) thanks David.....for the help with my stuff and the great conversation!! Ill definitely be back to visit! :)) Also, Id like to add that this particular location was absolutely the cleanest store Ive been to! The produce was picture perfect and every department I walked thru looked like it was freshly stocked and I was in not too long before closing time:))

I was in my local Publix this afternoon, the Kings Crossing. One of the employees that makes sandwiches in the deli quite often for me was in line at the register on his lunch break. We were having a conversation and one of the store managers walked up and gave him a comp ticket for his lunch today. The employee told me that he received it due to a customer complimenting him. So I have a couple things to say, first, he deserves it. This is a good guy and I appreciate the service he always gives me. And second, I am incredibly glad to see that a program like this exists at Publix. It so nice to see people rewarded for their efforts. It keeps them happy and it make customers like me happy that little things do not go unnoticed. Happy to see this happen today!

Requested 8 bottles of Arizona Stress Tea on June 3rd.As a former special forces officer I was once wounded in my right hip and although it flared up severely on Sat. June 3rd I went in and alas only one bottle was stocked.I returned on Monday June 5th and this time asked a manager after not seeing it stocked again and they had it in an office waiting.I was upset due to my injury and had a personality difference with Tim The Manager, nonetheless Publics had done as I requested and I guess I should have gotten the Manager on the third and would have avoided any unpleasantries.I am very happy and was treated very well and thanked for my service,by other publics employees and thanked them likewise.Nicwe people and clean store that filled my request.

2nd time I go to this place and probably the last ..one of hispanic descent cant help but notice the racial tension between some older Caucasian employees.. I have noticed how great and courteous customer service skills toward people of color are slim to none ... I sat there and watched this cashier greet and say thank you and hello and when it was my turn I get the silent treatment.... these are the elders you would expect them to have better manners unfortunately they dont ...

This Publix is undoubtedly the best place to stand in the middle of the aisle and compare different cans of food. The aisles are just wide enough for me to wheel my Publix provided powered scooter into the aisle, park it diagonally, and just be at one with myself, and my favorite can of creamed corn. Heck, next time, I might even just have a one-man block party in the aisle for the fun of it. These young whippersnappers need to slow down and enjoy life. Way down. Way, way, down.

Witnessed stupidity. Deli is out of bread..... In a grocery store. Was not given resolution other than making the subs on dinner rolls. Love Publix so Ill chalk this up to poor management. Went to the big bend location, great service and was able to get a proper sub.

I love this Publix. It is very clean and well organized. The workers are freindly. Living close to this location i visit often. I really enjoy the subs they make fresh at the deli. Or grab some freshly fried chicken on the go.
