I recently went back to being a vegetarian after several years of being an omnivore. Ive lived in Sylva for 5 years and havent ever been to Kountry Kupboard, so I thought nows as good a time as any. I was greeted with a smile and immediately asked if I needed any assistance. The lady (I didnt catch her name but she was young and brunette) working there helped me find everything I was looking for and even gave me some advice on where to find/how to make my own vegan yogurt. She was very pleasant and helpful and their selection is the best in town - who wants to drive all the way to EarthFaire when you can get almost all of what you need right here in town? Im very glad that I decided to stop in because I will be making many trips back. Pricing was not too bad considering its the only health food store in 20-30 miles. I got a big (paper!) bag full of stuff and paid only 20-some, so I was pleased. Also, anyone who is/has someone in their family who needs gluten-free -products should make a bee-line to this awesome place. LOVE IT. 5 Stars.

On three separate occasions I have been to this health food store and the lady who owns the place completely gets emotional when it comes to using cell phones. She will try to give you information on using cell phones and will not talk to you if she knows that you are on a cell phone. Ive been through this 3 times with this lady and I guess I had to learn the hard way..

been going here for 20 years...to google user-- why should she try to talk to you if you are on the phone ? you should hang up your phone if you want to have a conversation with a person that you are trying to do business with...cell phones make people rude...
