Ive been buying my tires from Discount tires for over 10 years, nothing but praise for these folks who know what it means to deliver excellent customer service. Great prices and outstanding customer service! Also, no worries that theyll try and sell you a wheel alignment that you dont need because they dont offer alignments. I really like this because I drive Hondas and they very, very rarely, if ever need an alignment! The only time I had even the slightest issue at Discount Tire was once I had a set of Kumho tires on hold and when I got there someone had sold them out from under us, I decided on some Falken tires, which didnt ride well on my car, but no fault of Discount Tire, and just human error on selling my tires on hold, things happen. Discount Tire has always done a great job of keeping my tires right. I always buy the road hazard policy, as it pays for itself if you only get the free rotate and balance every 5-6K miles, which I do regularly. Also, many times Ive had a tire that was damaged beyond repair due to a road hazard, and it replaces the tire for free as long as its not below the wear bars, just gotta pay the small price for the road hazard policy on the new tire. Ive even taken new cars that Ive bought and had Discount Tire write policies for the tires on my new cars, which is a nice option that not a lot of people know about. I wont let anyone else touch my tires! Discount Tire totally rocks, and in response to the disgruntled former employee, no, I dont work for them! If there was ever issues between staff and management, Ive never seen it as a customer. I always get the impression that its very customer centric organization, so that says a lot about the corporate culture. Sorry to hear the former employee had issues, and hope theyre in a situation better suited for you!

I swear by Discount Tire. More than just the company, I swear by the Assistant Manager, John Gregorius. He is a stand up guy who understands customer retention, and he always does the right thing. All of my vehicles go to him. Ive also recommended over 30 people to Discount Tire because of John after my first interaction with him over a year ago. My family has bought over 10 sets of tires from them. I have also purchased rims from them at a phenomenal price. I can trust him to make sure the job gets done right, and Ill get the best price possible. I know that hell make sure my friends and family are safe in whatever they drive. I even drive 30 minutes out of the way to buy from him now beings hes not at the Wake Forest location any more. I even remember one time when a friend of mine had been killed. I was low on money because I work on commission and I needed 2 tires to get me to the funeral. I was treated rudely from the Cary location when looking for used 17" tires, so I went and saw John and Ken in (when he was in Wake Forest), (Ken now manages the Durham location) and they took care of me to make sure I was able to make the trip safely instead of riding on a bald tire and a donut. This is truly a grade A company. When John becomes a GM of his own store I will drive the distance because they understand the Lost Art of treating your customers right. If you dont buy your tires here, you are truly doing yourself a disservice.

On my way out of town, my low tire pressure light comes on so I gps the closer discount tire to me. Six forkes comes up (I usually go to the one on Millbrook). So the tech comes over he checks and puts air in. Im asking do you think I have a hole, is there a slow leak? He says I dont know ok he ran off so fast, I realize my light need to be reset 05 Impala the next tech comes over I say can you reset it? He says I will get someone who can. Third tech comes over huh "I dont have any idea"I say to him the tech off Millbrook does something with the radio , ahh ahh you may have to go back over there. Smh, my tire contract says I can go to Any discount tire and get free rotation for the life of the tires. Not rotation at this one and reset button at this one they need more training. For something so simple. Went to Millbrook the guy that usually sets it is inside and tech pulls out his machine and it walks him through set by step done in 5min. So I tell them my dilemma the tech says ohh we would have figured it out your safe in our hands. And also advised me not to take that trip something may be going on. Millbrook or the one in Garner for me experienced techs hands down.

I took my car in this morning b/c there was a small chip in one of the tires and it seemed to have a slow leak. The man who helped me said the tread on all of them was getting close so if they needed to replace one, it might be worth considering replacing them all, but he was not pushy about it. I said if that was the case, they could do all 4 which would be about $550. They took it to the back and w/i 15 minutes or so my name was called and the gentleman who had my keys said they found a screw in one which was the problem, they fixed it and I was good to go ... at no charge. This was absolutely shocking to me b/c I have never been to a mechanic/dealer and walked away feeling like I wasnt screwed at least a little. When the tread goes down a little more I will no doubt be back, not only for their service but their honesty as well.

I have been going to these guys for the last 15 years. There is no other tire place I will go to. Several years ago I damaged my right rear tire by ripping out a huge chunk. (About the size of my hand) This happened back in the days when cash was tight... rather I was near broke. I could not afford to get a new tire. I told this to the guy working there and that I didnt know what I was going to do. He sold me a compatible tire for 10.00 and they put it on for no charge. Hence the reason I will go no where else. 15 years later I recovered from financial woe and am doing well. I will never forget the guys there that helped me. Its amazing the people the Lord brings in our path at the right time. Always remember to be one of those people... a blessing!!! Thx Guys!!!

I made an appointment for first thing in the morning then when I arrived and mentioned I had to be at work at 9 the gentleman said they couldnt replace two tires by that time so I said it was okay to just replace the spare and I could come back and replace the other tire then he said they couldnt even do one tire in an hour so I called around to see who could replace my tires asap and Firestone downtown replaced BOTH my tires without an appointment and I was at work on time. There is no reason why they couldnt have replaced at least one of my tires when someone else could replace two tires without me making an appointment ahead of time and equally as busy... terrible experience at this Discount Tire.
