Loved the new store, open bigger, bright and clean. Loved that you now stock fresh fish and the fishmonger is very knowledgeable and helpful. However the kitchen staff in the cafe need to be trained in customer service as I found this Saturday morning customer "NO service." I asked for hot water and was told it is out, when I replayed last week it was not hot I was told this is not last week and I just put it out. I also asked for a blue real mug and was told only have 3 left to use the paper cups. I made my tea and put my finger in it. Should not be able to do that if the water is hot enough for tea. When I asked for my fattata to be heated was told I can do it in the microwave myself, then after finishing my breakfast read on the wall to "clear my own table" which I completely agree with if people are waiting for a table but not when the kitchen staff are standing around talking. So if I am to meet friends at a local restaurant or lunch at the co-op I choice to go to a place that is glad to do "more then just provide food". I know how hard and long the manager has worked to make the cafe work and the food is generally good, but you need to take head of what your customers are saying if you hope to continue. You see I can heat my food and clear my table at home why do I need to go out. Plus I can have a REAL cup. You are welcome. a local patron.

First off Id like to say to you Ms. Monroe at no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. I dont know what type of self absorbed world you are living in but I have only had great experiences with the staff at the store. Now Dan. Dan Dan Dan. Im shaking my head Dan. Really shaking my head. Upon reviewing your history of...well, reviews how dare you visit such a fine establishment as Olive Garden in Arden and give only one star. Based on that alone I can no longer trust anything you say about anything. I mean endless bread sticks Dan, come on. Also please dont call people spoiled when you dont know their background and because they dont wear the same suit as you. Sounds self-righteous. This is a great place for both young and old to work. They do their best to keep up with even the most anal of customers, myself included. Everyone there may not have the answer to the questions we ask or know in detail about the enigmatic nutritional information on the back of the box but in my experience if they dont know they will do their best to find out.

If youre looking for a bunch of spoiled children posing as adults and pretending to be "working", this is your kind of place. If anyone speaks to you in a welcoming way, you are better off than most. If anyone smiles and says "thank you" when you buy somethng you are really special and I can promise you its got nothing to do with how much of their overpriced stuff you buy. Before I wised up I bought a lot and they acted like ringing my order up and giving me my change was doing me a big favor. The coffee is aways either out or luke warm and they treat you like its your fault. The hot food bar is scary looking.. Like blue hair, strange outfits and extra cool looking tattoos on miserable appearing cashiers "doing their own thing", you may love it here. Like slipery floors when it rains you will find this place a lot of fun - what genius thought that slick tile was perfect for the store entrance?? Must be the same person who does the hiring and training.

My favorite store to shop at! Whoever commented "grossly expensive" clearly has ZERO clue about health foods because I have compared prices here to many other stores and they always beat everyone. Plus the sales are awesome. Produce is all organic and/or locally grown which is amazing. The seafood/meat counter is fresh and unique which is fun! Just wish they stayed open later. The only downfall for me is the deli/prepared foods can be inconsistent. The staff in that department is a mixed bag. Sometimes theyll see you standing there and it takes forever to get any service. Others are very friendly and helpful. (Really wish they would put the apples back into the curry chicken salad!) Love that they offer so many gluten free options and lightly sweetened baked goods!! *yum!* Pretty much my favorite part about living in Hendo is having this store to shop at. :) Really so grateful for this store and the staff that work so hard here.

Love this place. The community co-op is owned by customers, but anybody can shop there. There are benefits for owners, though. It is much more than a store filled with nutritious food. Its a place to meet people who care, mostly about the environment. The staff is knowledgeable about the products and super friendly. The cafe is a nice place to hang out, have a healthy bite for breakfast/lunch or a cup of good coffee while doing work on the laptop. If one feels like talking, theres a good chance to find a companion. Its a very different shopping experience for sure.

Weve been huge fans of the Co-op for the last couple of years. Spent tons of money there. Unfortunately they have the rudest most unprofessional young lady, Princessa, working there and have allowed her to be rude to their customers. Ive often watched her be rude to customer after customer and no staff has ever stepped in to solve the problem. Even left several messages with management but never received any communication from them. Its too bad that the management has allowed this to go on. Well have to take our business elsewhere.

I dont understand who selects the products for this store. Ive never found anything that I use on a regular basis when it comes to the supplement section. Sent my husband in for Enzymatic Therapy Air Power and they dont have it. They have none of the top selling, and highly effective products, that sold like wildfire in my store. Makes no sense.

Im trying to become a vegetarian again and its so easy when I shop here. Theyve got a lot of delicious forms of tempeh and frozen vegetarian meals, as well as boxed kits for things like vegetarian chili and sloppy joes. Their grain and rice section is a relief because there are many options and you can choose your amounts.

Only hot bar/buffet in the state that charges you for the weight of their plastic/reusable plate. Nothing says love, wholesome and/or community like being jacked $15 for a plate of mac & cheese, a small piece of braised pork and a can of soda. Way to burn someone that comes in once or twice a week for a quick bite.

Amazing type of grocery store. The place is very nice. They sell alkaline water , the food bar has very good meals. lots of vegan and vegetarian foods, I had the cod from the hot bar, this place makes food better than lots restaurants around. Over all top pick to go out to eat.
