I cant speak for the older negative reviews as I just started going here about a month ago. The current staff are wonderful. Prices are very competitive and often beat the big blue box store. Keep in mind this is a smaller chain store so it cant support a large staff so it might take a little longer to get help if there are several customers or if they just had a delivery. If you can be a little patient you will be rewarded with pleasant customer service that isnt pushy. They will do their best to help you find the best product for your needs (not necessarily the most expensive). A big thing to me is how clean they keep the animal enclosures. Even getting my face down in the hamster cage I did not smell anything other than the shavings they use for bedding. They do a good job keeping up the fish section. Occasionally I will see a dead fish (especially in the feeder stock tanks) this is inevitable to some extent but I never see dead decaying fish in the tanks. I have seen decaying fisht in every other chain and independent store in the area and there is just no excuse for it. The people at this Pet Supermarket do a really good job with what they have. Very impressed, unless something drastically changes this will be my go to place for pets from here on. If you have any pet questions ask for Sam hes extremely knowledgeable about many pets and if he doesnt know something hell point you to someone who does.

At 7:30pm on October 28th we entered this FINE establishment with the intent buy purchase pet supplies. We werent greated by a sales associate but by at ferret running across the floor. A female clerk was laughing at it while it was running about. With the male associate now laughing at it and pulling it around, and the female too consumed in her phone to tell us where things are, we decided to leave. With no "Good bye", or "Have a great night", the male opted out to yell to the female counter part "Oh it was trying to hide because it needed to poop." So at the end of this adventure there was no cherry on top, but a warm bundle of feces resting atop the floor. We will be shopping elsewhere.

I will NEVER buy fish from this store again! Their fish are disease ridden and many of them died within an hour of purchasing them and when I put them in our tank, the disease killed off the rest of our fish in the aquarium. I will be buying from somewhere else while completely restarting my aquarium and also setting up a quarantine tank. Very disappointed...actually my daughter is more disappointed because they were her fish. Also the guy that got the fish that I wanted he had no knowledge on the fish he was selling. He pulled out dead fish, fish with missing tails, etc. you have to DEFINITELY keep your eye on and examine the fish that they give you.

Prices are competitive but checkout can be frustrating. Theres a gentleman working in this store who acts as though he is a manager. If this guy is running the 1 register that is usually open (when Ive been there), its going to be slow going. He appears to be unable to multitask. If he is asked a question, checking out stops. Forget about running in & out. I just left the store and customers waiting to checkout waited while he talked to someone about deworming a cat! Visibly frustrated customers waited.

This is a convenient place to stop on my way home to find products for my Westie. I like that they have a variety of real food ingredients in their dog foods. My dog has been on a grain free diet for 4 years- once I figured out what she was allergic to. During the fall and winter months I feed her Merrick canned dog foods as this is hydrating to her skin, while in the spring and summer months I feed her Candidate Grain Free Sky DUCK. She lives the taste and eats all her food. Great for Westies!

Today is Friday, November 18th it was the first time that I have visit that store I give it 2 because the people were so rude they didnt lock me in the store they didnt say good morning or Ican I help you find anything but they have a lot of stuff for your pets it was a enjoyment just walking around I will visit again I just hope different people are there.

Really like this store. We have an older dog and were transitioning her over from another dog food. They were very helpful and guided us on how to help her acclimate to the new diet. She is doing so well and has more energy. Will definitely go back. Didnt expect such good service from a "superstore" and was pleasantly surprised.

I just want to say how nice and friendly the staff was at this pet store. We bought the sweetest little bunny, but unfortunately my son and I were both allergic and had to return her. The staff made a sad situation much better by their kind and friendly words. They were more than sympathic and went above and beyond to help us out.

Great service in a clean & friendly environment. The sales associate helped me solve an ongoing cat collar problem. Will be returning in the next week to purchase a similar collar for my second cat. Highly rating for innovative solutions!

Staff is nice and they have very good small animal toys! I got my Guinea pig from here and she is great! Although the Guinea pigs should have a house to feel safe and have hay but otherwise its good! They also have very cool fish stuff

A nice, clean place to shop. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its easy to get in and out of the parking lot and easy to get in and out of the store, too. They had a good supply of the various canine items I was looking for.
