It was my birthday and I wanted a tattoo so I searched a couple of places and a lot of them I was really unsure about. I looked at the rating that Tattoo Asylum got and I figured it was probably the best. I was a little nervous because I had six friends coming in with me. Their attitudes toward everyone was great. They were really nice and well, relaxed. I brought my mom along because she wanted to make sure that the guy was doing it properly, she wasnt to fond about me getting a tattoo but since i did she wanted to make sure that I was safe (shes a nurse). Bruce was really nice about having her in the room with me. Since this was my first tattoo I was a little worried about how bad it would hurt but in the end it it didnt really hurt at all. I am in love with my first tattoo and I would highly recommend tattoo asylum. In the end my mom was really satisfied with the end result as well :)

Tonight my husband and I went to get bands tattooed for our 10th anniversary. We had our kid with us, so I was going to wait in the car with him, while hubby got his done, then I go get mine done. He showed them the pic of the one we wanted, they said they could do the for $50 each. So he came out to the car to tell me, and told me to go on and go get our 9yr old dinner and when I got back hed be done... Im gone no more than 5 minutes and he calls me to come back BC he said they wouldnt do it. Really disappointed BC one of our good friends had really spoken highly of the place and said how great they are.... Wish wed had the same experience hed had... Was really looking forward to getting a tattoo tonight on our anniversary.

BRUCE IS F****** AWESOME! I have had 2 prior tattoos done from my hometown but since I relocated to Durham for college, finding the right tattoo artist took YEARS. I got a side/back piece done; with which I had no set design, just a couple of photos that I liked and asked him to incorporate different attributes into the piece. Bruce was totally professional and a delight and this tattoo is SICK! Tattoo Asylum is definitley the best workI have seen in this area. Im telling you, no matter how long the waiting list, how booked he is, GO. TO. BRUCE!!!

My husband and I read that they did walk in appointments, so we called them at noon to see what would be a good time to come in for two tattoos. Never had been there before we didnt know what to expect. Christina told us to come in around 3pm. We did. She helped us upon arrivibg. She took an hour to draw up what we wanted. My husband was in the chair at 4:00 out by 5:00, then it was my turn. I got done at 6pm. Christina was extremely focused on her work and we couldnt be more pleased with our new ink!! I recommend this venue!!

I was recently tattooed by Jonas at Tattoo Asylum. He is AMAZING! I did some shopping around & this is by FAR the best tattoo shop around the area. My tattoo is absolutely beautiful. Not only did Jonas do amazing work, he went above & beyond! The shop is clean & has a very cool vibe. Theyre willing to work with you on design, price, location, schedule...you name it. Im having my tattoo completed in 4 weeks & I cant WAIT!! I definitely recommend Tattoo Asylum & especially Jonas for any work you want done.

Ive been going to Tattoo Asylum for about 6 years now and I just LOVE this place!!! So far they have done 9 of my 12 tattoos and theyve all turned out GREAT! Jonas Britt does all of my work, but everyone there is amazingly talented. Aside from being talented artists they are also fairly priced and VERY VERY clean! Kristen is a great tattoo artist. She quickly drew up a tattoo design from a drawing I sent her. It turned out not to fit on my arm, so she made some adjustments to get it down to the right size. She has a very soft touch - this tattoo hurt less than my previous one, despite it being on more sensitive skin. The tattoo looks great. Also, it was pretty quick to get an appointment, which was convenient. Overall, an awesome experience. I highly recommend Kristen!

A friend told me get my first tattoo done here because they were affordable and do great work. He didnt lie. I walked in on a Monday and told them what I wanted, and the shop owner hooked me up with Jonas who gave me my tat on Saturday. He was funny, made the experience great, and my tattoo is freaking awesome!! I cant speak for every artist but if they are like Jonas you wont be disappointed. Highly recommend it and we will be going back for more!

Went to get wedding bands, agreed to my very simple design, walked out to my wife who was in the car watching our nine year old son. Did I mention its our ten year anniversary? They agreed to hers. Then they got very strange and fed me false information about tattoos on fingers (i sat there because my wife left to get my son dinner and looked it up on web)and refused to do the work they agreed to. A Self centered business. They were very rude.

Jonas is the best tattoo artist I know. I have three tattoos and he did them all. My first time I was nervous and he made the experience so much easier. He is really funny and nice. He does a great job!! Looking forward to going back to see him very soon. Overall tattoo asylum is the perfect place to get your tattoos. The staff is friendly and I recommend this place to everyone that ask where I got my tattoos done. Love this place!!! ❤️❤️

Jonas is an absolutely amazing artist. He has done tattoos for both my husband and I and we are thrilled with them. He took our ideas and turned them into true one of a kind tattoos. We are looking forward to him doing our next works of art! We have already given him the concepts to work with and draw. Ive been going to Tattoo Asylum for 8 years now - my last 7 tattoos have been from there and I only go to the Asylum for work. Theyre so good I used to travel 5,000 miles to get work done by them. Yeah - that. good. Bruce White does phenomenal portraits, and an occasional, but always epic, Star Wars tat.

Best tattoo shop around! Jonas done an awesome piece on my boyfriend and I got a small tattoo that I love. I would recommend this tattoo shop to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to go. I have only gotten one done by Jonas but Ive seen work from the other tattoo artists there and it all looks amazing!

Explored my options and did some research and visited around the area. By FAR the best around. VERY clean and PROFESSIONAL. Tom did mine and it looks great. Very willing to work with you and create your ideal design, wether it be off the wall or from your imagination. 30/30. Will definitely be back!
