Walked to the shoe department. A young man asked if he could help me. I said i wear a 13 wide. He said depending on the shoe, he might have stock. I said i was looking for a running shoe. He asked me to take off my shoes and walk towards a wall across the store. I did, then he had me walk back. Next he measured both feet. My left foot is a SIZE bigger!! No one ever told me that. I guess it kept growing. He said i need to go up to 14, and that he would go in the back and see what he had. He brought out a pair of Asics 13, which were indeed too short. Then tried on the Brooks 14, and they were perfect. Totally perfect from the beginning. They had a "buy one pair get 50% off another pair" sale. I asked if they had a more casual shoe or sandal. He showed me a size 14 sandal they have. The style was not compelling, so he said he would give 20% off the Brooks! Got 6 pair of socks too. Happy!

This is our "home store" and they could not be more helpful and friendly there. My children and I have been there to pick up all kinds of sports related items, as well as shoes. The staff go above and beyond to find what we need and are quite knowledgeable in the shoe area.
