First of all, Gregg at Brides & Bouquets is very talented. However, after months of discussing how I wanted the flowers to be for our wedding and two planning meetings I was completely shocked when I walked into my wedding reception and found flowers and centerpieces that were absolutely not what we talked about and not even in the same color scheme we had been discussing for the past 7 months. The color scheme was supposed to be lavender and sage with blush, coral and gray accents. We agreed that bright green orchids were not the look we were going for and that I did not want lavender roses and this color would be carried by my bridesmaids dresses and the use of actual lavender. What he presented for our wedding was lavender rose and green orchid boutonnieres and arrangements that included bright pink flowers with yellow centers, more lavender roses, other shades of blue and purple, and bright greenery. Gregg came back when I told our planner I was upset with the flowers, but his only solution to the orchids in the bouquets was to remove them without any replacement. I did not want to start crying about what a disaster I thought all of the arrangement were and ruin my makeup, so I tried to let it go and enjoy our wedding day. When I emailed Gregg to ask what happened to the flowers we had been discussing for months I got little to no response until I threatened to request a refund if there was no good explanation. Finally, he called me to say what we had discussed looked too "blah" and he could talk to the photographer about fixing the color in the photos. We had an amazing photographer, and the pictures were not the problem. He even acted like he didnt remember that the greens were supposed to be sage. He did apologize, but that was too little too late. I would NEVER recommend Brides & Bouquets to anyone I know getting married.

We had Gregg Kennedy and the Brides & Bouquets crew do the flowers for our wedding on May 25, 2014 and could not have been ANY happier with the results! I knew Gregg was the florist we wanted from our very first appointment. I knew absolutely nothing about flowers going into the consultation, but he put me completely at ease. He immediately understood the "classic southern" style we were going for and put together some beautiful pieces right there in his shop. It was like watching a mad scientist create these floral masterpieces right before our eyes! In just minutes! Our decision was finalized when he turned to my husband (who is even more clueless about flowers than I am) and talked sports for the 10 minutes before we left. We were both hooked! Since we were engaged for almost two years, Gregg made sure to schedule plenty of "check-in" appointments to discuss our vision for the wedding. Our final appointment was totally relaxed since we had already had several other appointments devoted to finalizing all of the little details. On our big day, it all came together! The lantern/flower wreath centerpieces he created were GORGEOUS, so beautiful that we sent them home with family and friends as gifts (all were snatched up right away!). The other flower arrangements, of which there were many, we all beautiful as well. And dont even get me started on the bouquets! He could not have captured my vision more perfectly! So, if you are looking for a down-to-earth, yet highly professional and organized, florist who is willing to work within your budget, create one-of-a-kind floral arrangements, and help you create a vision that is just perfect for your wedding, go with Brides & Bouquets!

Gregg did an excellent job with the flowers for my wedding. He has a tremendous instinct for the right look to fit the venue, and the arrangements he and Joy put together were seriously incredible. Everyone commented on how gorgeous they were! He also works very efficiently with smaller budgets! I would give 4.5 stars if I could, but not 5. 2 reasons why: -- He went over budget by $160. That isnt a lot, and he knew that I was willing to flex on the budget a little. Still, He had told me in the consult that he could easily stay within my budget, so it was a little surprising when he sent over the proposal and it cost more than what we had originally agreed. -- He took back the flowers at the end of the night when he picked up his equipment. I had not thought to ask for my flowers-- I had simply assumed they would be for my family to take after the wedding-- so I was surprised when they disappeared. Then he was unreachable for a few days (to be fair, it was New Years Eve). When he finally got back with me, he tried to rectify the situation by making me a few small arrangements and dropping them at my house. While they werent of the same caliber as the original ones, of course, they were still quite pretty and I really appreciated the effort. So, all-in-all, great job, Brides and Bouquets! Tip to brides, ALWAYS ASK ABOUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOUR FLOWERS, no matter which florist you go with!!! If you go with Gregg and Joy at Brides and Bouquets, youll LOVE the arrangements they make for you! Mine were beyond gorgeous and I was very satisfied.

I used Gregg for my wedding flowers and they turned out perfectly. We discussed what I was looking for and he immediatly understood the look I was going for. My bouquet was beautiful and the bridesmaids were also great. They were different enough to stand out but still flowed nicely with my bouquet and all the other flowers. The table setttings looked great as well. Im still waiting to get all my pictures back from the photographer because I cant wait to see all the table settings that were captured. I used my grandmothers antiques and he was able to use them as vases and make each table unique. I described what I wanted for the groomsmens flowers as well and while its a small detail in the scheme of everything it was still important to me and he created their flowers excactly as the vision I had. We had a few meetings before the wedding so I could get a look and feel of how the flowers would flow and I found that to be very helpful. I also was able to call and speak to him easily as well-which I think is very important when you are trying to juggle many vendors. If I left him a voicemail he would return it very quickly. I cant comment about price too much because I did not shop around. I felt that Gregg understood the look I was going for and we went from there. Overall, I thought he did a great job, he was easy to work with, responsive, and I really enjoyed the end product.

Gregg Kennedy and his staff at Brides and Bouquets far exceeded our hopes and expectations. Their expertise and service was the perfect answer for this mother of the bride who was assisting with wedding preparations from across the country. We arrived at our first consultation with a broad picture of what the floral aspect might look like for this very special event. Gregg listened, asked insightful questions, and helped us to learn what it might take to develop these ideas into a tangible plan. He provided on the spot examples of how we could use flowers to accent the other aspects of the wedding venue. While also supporting the constrains of the wedding budget. Assisting us with bulk flower orders, and a sample arrangement that our friends were able to use to make arrangements for events that occurred leading up to the wedding. On arrival to the brides room on the wedding day, all the girls walked in to see their bouquets waiting for them and the exclamations and accolades were delightful. They were the perfect complement to the most amazing celebration we have ever had the joy of experiencing. We whole heartedly recommend Brides and Bouquets to family and friends!! Thank you for your discerning, artistic style and service!
